Nonini Loses His Radio Job. Find Out Which Two Celebs Are Replacing Him

If you’re an ardent One FM fan, especially of the morning show you must have noticed that Genge ‘godfather’ and celebrated musician, Nonini, has not been on air. This comes after he announced to his fans that he will no longer be hosting the One FM breakfast show, on Monday.

In the post to his fans Nonini did not disclose why he was leaving the station.

However, Ghafla! has established that Nonini was fired but on “very flimsy grounds” by the station manager, John Wilkins. Wilkins is has built a reputation as one of the leading radio programming gurus in Africa and is credited to have discovered, trained & coached some of Kenya’s top radio presenters including Zain Verjee (now at CNN) and Maina Kageni.

And now reliable sources indicate that Nonini will be replaced by DNG (who’s making a comeback to the station after decamping earlier in the year) and Sarah Hassan (Tanya).
