No dresses that expose thighs, no tight trousers… Strict church forces Rachel Shebesh and female journalists to cover ‘vital parts’ with leso

Nairobi Women Rep Rachel Shebesh and Nominated Senator Beatrice Elachi were shocked when they were told they had to cover themselves before they could be allowed to attend church service in Roysambu.

Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth announced his decision to contest for Nairobi gubernatorial seat at a service at Jesus Winners Ministry Church in Roysambu on Sunday January 15th 2017.

He was accompanied by Nairobi Women Rep Rachel Shebesh, Nominated Senator Beatrice Elachi, Starehe MP Maina Kamanda, Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan, Roysambu MP Waihenya Ndirangu among other legislators.

But what the honorable lawmakers didn’t know was that Jesus Winners Ministry Church had strict dress code.

Apparently the church doesn’t allow short dresses that expose thighs and tight trousers that show women’s body contours.

Shebesh, Elachi and a few female journalists who donned ‘revealing’ clothes were forced to look for lesos before they could be allowed into the church.
