Asa is not ready to quit music anytime soon.
French-Nigerian Singer, Bukola Elemide popularly known as Asa has declared her intention to continue singing for a long time. The singer in a tweet wrote that she will keep singing until she attains the old age of 80.

Well,that sounds like good news.
Asa has no doubt risen beyond bounds to become one of Nigeria’s favorite musicians. She came into the country with a peculiar style of music that was widely accepted by all.
As an only female child in a family of four children, Asa whose family returned to Nigeria while she was just Two returned to France, twenty years later. Her music is said to be influenced by some French acts whom she chose to model after. She also drew inspiration from Nigerian acts like Lagbaja, Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey and of course, the legendary Fela Kuti.
Asa’s first album was produced by Cobhams Emmanuel Asuquo whom she was introduced to by her manager, Janet.
Her first studio album, Asa won her the prestigious French Constantin Awards in 2008 where she was voted Best Fresh Talent.
The singer has since then released other albums; Live in Paris, Beautiful Imperfection and Bed of Stone.
Her music is loved by many across cultural boarders. The world will certainly love to see her dish out good music as long as she lives.
