Popular musician, Mr 2kay attacked by robbers

Mr 2kay, a popular Nigerian musician was robbed in his hotel in Lagos. According to reports gathered, this incident happened after his performance at Buckwyld and breathless concert.

On the 22nd of October 2017, the Buckwyld and Breathless Concert was held at the Eko conventional center in Lagos. Mr 2kay who was robbed was part of the performers.

It was said that a team of four gang robbers attacked the singer and a friend at about 11pm in their room. The singer mistook the men as room service which was how they gained their entrance.

The singer was badly beaten and tied up while the robbers made away with money, phones, jewelry, clothes, perfumes and other valuable items. His friend was locked inside the bathroom and the intercom was disengaged.  His manager disclosed his shock and revealed that investigations are ongoing.

Silas said: “I was quite shocked when I got to Mr. 2kay’s room last night. This was somebody I watched perform some minutes before the incident. Anyway, the hotel authorities and police are already investigating the incident and we hope they’ll apprehend the criminals as soon as possible.”
