Nakumatt Ukay Shuts Down After The Store Floods And Products Are Destroyed(Photos)
The heavy downpour being witnessed in different sections of the country and the capital in particular is now costing businesses.
Nakumatt became the first business to suffer substantially after one of its outlets flooded and products were washed away from shelves. The parking lot was also not spared as vehicles became submerged. This was at the Westlands Nakumatt Ukay branch.
The company, which is the largest retail outlet in the country has now been forced to shut the store indefinitely with customers referred to the Nakumatt Highridge Supermarket which will now operate as a 24hr outlet to cater for the increased demand.
