Nairobi Half Life to Show in 100 Screens in the U.S.

Nairobi Half Life showed in cinemas all over the world at festivals and special screenings.

It played at the AFI Fest and Palm Springs Festival in the U.S. but it never got a proper theatrical run in the U.S. where viewers have been asking to see it. They may now finally get a chance to check out the film that premiered at the Durban International Film Festival in South Africa.

The Feature Film Project is giving American audiences a chance to decide whether Kenya’s official entry to the Oscars can enjoy a theatrical run in their country. Should the fans vote for it on the Feature Film Project Website, it will show in 100 cinemas across the U.S.

The film will screen on 21st March in Phoenix, Arizona; Vail, Colorado; Orlando, Florida; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Columbus, Ohio and San Antonio, Texas among other cities, some yet to be announced. This comes as the next One Fine Day Films workshop production, Something Necessary, announced screenings in Germany.
