‘Naija Wave’ Sweeps Yet another Gospel Artist
Since the revolution of Kenyan Gospel music, so much has taken place. Notably, more and more Gospel artistes have adopted the Naija way of crooning in their songs. While Willy Paul has stuck to the Bongo Gospel, the likes of Mr Seed, Jimmy Gait and DK Kwenye Beat have gone the West African way.
And now, yet another celebrated and huge contemporary Gospel artist has joined that bandwagon. Rosy Ohon is a household name in Kenyan entertainment scene; she has given you some of the finest songs in Gospel Ministry apart from being a loving mum to Joy (of ‘Machachari’) and Imani (the young adorable girl in “Oreo” cookies TV adverts).
Well, Rosy recently chucked a very catchy praise song named “Eshe Baba”. “Eshe Baba” is Yoruba for “Thank you Lord”. Rosy says she wrote the song to express her gratitude to God for having walked with her through thick and thin as echoed in Psalms 106:1.
Here’s the admirable song done by Jacky B and Ogopa on the impeccable video;
