Y’all know how Nonini has been a trailblazer from the get go, shattering the proverbial ‘glass ceiling’ for musicians in Kenya.

He’s up to it again! Nonini has been on a mission to ensure that Kenyan music is given the recognition it deserves. That I believe was one of the sole reasons why he accepted the job at One fm’s breakfast show. The thing I love most about his show is the throwback segment where he plays songs that you haven’t heard in ages. In one fell swoop, he takes you down memory lane while painting an indelible picture of where we have come from as an industry.
