Mr. Lenny Is Back!

For a couple of years, Mr. Lenny was considered the undisputed king of collabos. The lad was actually at some point compared to Nate Dogg by leading celebrity rags. That was then For some reason, lad completely fell off the radar.

That was then. He took a hiatus from music when he says his career suffered a blow while at Pine Creek Records. According to the artist in an interview with a leading weekly pull out, he did a couple of songs which flopped because they weren’t well market. Frustrating.

He also sites the cost of making music as one of the reasons he left.

However, the lad has matured and is no long er a lad. He is now a man and he is now signed to Grand Pa Records. Why did he choose Grand Pa? Why not? They are one of the most popular recording labels in Kenya having enjoyed watching all their recent releases turn into hit after hit.

<Mr. Lenny with his family>

And that’s not all, he released his latest song yesterday under the guidance of Grand Pa and the track is called “Randa Randa”. The track is something of a refreshing break for the music industry which has seen a concentration on club bangers.
The track which features V-6 (V-Sita) is a melodious yet upbeat love song about the need for true love.

That is the only straightforward aspect for it as the video has a very interesting take on things. Check the track out below and let us know what you think of it:
