MP In Gay Video Speaks Out On Why He Appeared On The Video And His Plans For The Video

After we reported about his presence in Kenya;s first pro gay music video, Kiharu MP Irungu Kangata has now given his views on the whole matter.

The MP who is captured in the video leading opposition towards gay rights actually has no issue with his presence in the video. Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Mr. Irungu says given that he is portrayed in the ‘right manner’ that is as one of the vocal opponents of homosexuality in Kenya.

“I think they want to show I am among those opposed to gay issues. If you watch the video well, I am placed amongst those that fight against them which is true,” said the MP.

However, this does not mean the MP supports the song. He is against the whole concept and blames the people who came up with it saying they promoted immorality. Mr Kang’ata said he will be following up the matter to see that the song is banned for its ‘immoral’ content.
