Motown Comes To Nairobi To Mark Kenya’s Birthday

Motown returns tomorrow to celebrate Kenya’s 50th birthday.

The second edition of Motown In Nairobi takes place this Wednesday, 11th December at Wanderjoy Party Grounds, off Kiambu Road (a few minutes from Muthaiga Golf Club).

Noted Jazz guitarist, Eddie Grey, considered as East Africa’s best, will have a special feature at the June Gachui-led musical extravaganza.

The cast of vocalists also includes Denise Gordon, Chris Bittok, Mercy Myra, Edward Parseen, Patricia Kihoro, Alisha Popat and Kavi Pratt. Others appearing for the first time are Victor Muli, Ian Mbugua, Kalekye Mumo and Maia von Lekow.
