Meet the Sizzling Hot News Anchor That Is Turning Heads at KU (Kenyatta University) TV (Photos)

On November 7th last year, a station came to birth at the KU Amphitheater.

The station as the venue suggests was KUTV which had the exceptional dreams of being student oriented and add value to the society.

Leading the KUTV team was their news anchors and one black beauty has stood out, her name Ankey Dorice Ombat.

Ankey discovered that she had a natural flair for the media when very young and her time came to hone it when she joined Kenyatta University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Development Studies in the institution.

At KU, she joined KU radio in 2011 where she served till 2015. At Ku Radio, Ankey got popular for her exceptional voice, smile and fast warm charisma.

Today she is an Anchor and show host in one of the fastest growing and newest station in the country, KUTV.

She says however that this is just the beginning “The road in life has too many turns, it only ends when the last breath, so until my time to go comes, I’ll keep driving stopping at nothing.”

Despite her thriving career in the media, she maintains that fame is not her main interest but she intends on making an impact .
