Married Gospel Artist Abandons His Wife & Kids After “God Asked Him to Do So”

Word on the street is that a married gospel musician now claims that God has spoken to him to leave his wife and two kids and marry a girl more than 10 years his junior. The musician is a talented gospel artist whose most popular video was directed by J Blessing.

The artist in question is Peter Kamau who says God told him to leave his current wife because she is not his destiny wife. His wife is trying to get him back home but he is adamant that he is not going back home. The artist has left his wife and the kids, a boy and a girl, and is now living alone as he waits to marry the girl.

The artist and the girl have been singing together in a music band. It is not yet clear the stand the music band has taken on that issue considering that he was its leader. But the music band released a statement on its Facebook page saying the artiste had taken a break from being the band’s chairman and the vice-chairman had taken over as “he deals with some family issues.”

The girl and the singer are said to be attending premarital counseling sessions with a Pastor in Nairobi as his wife tries to get back her husband. Kamau attends Karura Community Chapel and is a member of the church choir.
