Major TBT! Boniface Mwangi Selling Books In The Streets (Photo)

Long before he was a multi award winning photojournalist, a TED fellow and numerous other accolades,

long before he was an activist with resources, Boniface Mwangi was just another teenager about town trying to eke out a living. In doing so he tried a couple things and at one time he was selling books on the streets of Nairobi.

On Sunday he turned 33 and shared a photo of his formative career when all he had was a dream and it is hard to relate how that teenager has morphed into one of the most powerful activists involved in a multi faceted movement. A divisive figure he may be but there is no doubting his influence especially among the youth.
