Maisha London! 10 photos of the 11,000sq foot home belonging to gay couple who are hosting former President Obama and his wife for their holiday
Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama departed DC for their holiday destination aboard Special Air Mission (the plane is only called Air Force One when it is carrying seating US president).
The plane was supposed to land at Palm Springs International airport, California but it was diverted to March Air Force base after it failed to land due to heavy downpour.
The Obamas travelled in the Special Air Mission plane alongside their hosts; outgoing US ambassador to Spain James Costos and his husband Michael Smith who has been White House decorator since Obama ascended to power in 2008.

The gay couple will be hosting the Obamas for two weeks at their Rancho Mirage home in Palm Springs before the former first family returns to DC.
The Obamas have stayed in the couple’s Rancho Mirage home four times in the past when they traveled to Palm Springs.
Barack and Michelle are enjoying their holiday at 11,000-square-foot home of Smith and Costos which is located on 8.6 acres parcel of land.
The home has all luxuries to make a retired president feel the comfort he deserves; see the photos below:
