Lupita Nyong’o’s Security Roughs Up Journalist Who Tried To Take Her Photos As She Sneaked Into The Country

It seems Lupita Nyong’o’s actions are just but destroying her otherwise fantastic relationship she has ever enjoyed with Kenyans since her days as a shuga actress and her rise to greatness beyond our borders.

The thespian has been gaining international recognition and plaudits thanks to her stellar role in the film 12 Years A Slave which earned her an Oscar award and placed on the highest table of celebrities in the world.

But it seems back home Lupita is not the ordinary Kenyan girl you would easily intermingle with. In fact, getting closer to Lupita or just seeing her requires the status of a king or a queen. Ask one SDE photographer and he will tell you this for free.

Standard reports that Lupita has secretly jetted into the country ahead of her mentorship initiatives, several days before the time she was expected around.

According to SDE, the thespian was spotted at the VillaRosa Kempinski in Westlands in the company of her parents on Friday night, covering her face to conceal her identity.

When one of the Standard journalists took a few photos of the actress, her security roughed him up and forced him to delete the photos before sending him away.

This story has greatly angered a section of Kenyans who are questioning why Lupita is behaving like she is dealing with people suffering from Leprosy.

Among those roasting Lupita are blogger Robert Alai who has warned that she risks losing the love Kenyans have towards her.
