For the entire award season in Hollywood, Lupita Nyong’o, has been exceptional not only in fashion but also managed to sweep 60% of the awards she’d been nominated for. However, that wasn’t the end of the tale for the young Kenyan as she won the favour of many with a line in her acceptance speech.
In case it might have slipped your mind, Lupita said,
“When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child that, no matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.”
Just like that, Lupita’s quote was best one of the best (if not the best) during the 86th Academy Awards.
