Leicester City and Petr Cech enter the Guinness Book of World Records
Reigning English Premier League Champions remarkable fairytale year continues after they were included in the 2017 Guinness Book of World Records.
The club, which shocked the football world last season by beating established illustrious opposition to win the English title, was honoured for having the largest rise in position in the Premier League, in consecutive seasons.

The Premier League duo of Petr Cech and Gareth Barry also featured in the new edition of the Guinness World Records Book.
Arsenal Goalkeeper Cech enters the record books for keeping the most clean sheets in Premier League history.
The 34-year-old became the ‘keeper with the most clean sheets ever in the Premier League, with 181, and also became the only player to ever win the golden glove with two separate clubs, the Gunners and former club Chelsea.

Cech has quickly become a fan favourite at the Emirates, since his move from Stamford Bridge two seasons ago.
Everton midfielder Gareth Barry was honoured for having started the most Premier League games of any player – an incredible 580 and still counting – during his time at Aston Villa, Manchester City and Everton.
