Larry Madowo Explains Why He Issued Halfhearted Apology For Accusing Raila Odinga Of Farting In Public
The NTV news anchor finally bowed to pressure from critics and offered his ‘nusu mkati’ apology following a tweet that saw him get lynched.
A few days ago, Larry Madowo was being attacked left right and center after he settled on ‘indecent’ words to express his opinion.
The NTV journalist hit at Cord leader saying he expected him to name big fish in the Eurobond saga only for him to fart.
Well, Larry issued halfhearted apology for his comment after deleting the initial tweet from his twitter handle.
Larry didn’t apologize to the man he accused of farting instead he did it because Kenyans were blasting him whereas others were exchanging tribal insults.
“I apologize for my explosive Eurobond tweet and I’ve deleted it. The responses have degenerated into tribal war and that wasn’t my intention.” Explained Larry.
He went on to explain Raila would be ashamed of the mob that was lynching and threatening others using his name.
“Raila Odinga is a patriot and a gentleman from my interactions with him. He would be ashamed of those abusing and threatening others in his name.” Warned Larry.
