Steve Waruta Started Jomino records in 2007 at Madaraka estate with the aim of  rivaling  other production houses at the time and give artists an avenue for growing their careers at a time when the music scene was not as developed as it is now . It given prominence by DNG with his famous catchy quote “Jomino of course”  The studio quickly attracted industry’s big names like Size 8, Kenrazy,P-unit and DNA. Shortly after the studio had produced some of the biggest  hits in EasAfrica, “Banjuka” and “Tichi” The main man left for the US. 

With the producer moving to the US the Studio closed its doors with its main acts moving to other production houses like Ogopa and GrandPa. But good times, ladies and gentlemen are never forgotten! Jomino Is back people! Steve who credible information reveal was studying production in the US is back with a bang, In tow, he has “Twenty 2”  born Simon Mwangi, an Afro-pop artist from the coast.

 Twenty two has been doing music since 2005 and is set to be the next big thing signed under Jomino. His new video “mchumba”  has been produced Steve Waruta, mastered by Milton Mwakio (herbalist) while the video has been shot by Ogopa Dj’s. The video talks about getting someone you thought you would never have, dating person of your dreams. The video focuses on a surreal environment to create an illusion of a dream focused on Twenty 2 and the woman he never thought he’d date. 

This is comeback by Jomino will set the trend in 2015. It is catchy and danceable, the two qualities that make up for an awesome track- The video quality is beyond awesome.
