KTN Highlight A Mhindi Girl Married To A Luhya Living In The Village And The Video Sends Kenyans On Twitter Wild (VIDEO)
Personally, I have no idea why this is a huge deal. Actually, that is not true. This rarely -if ever- happens. Kenya’s Indians aren’t known to mingle with the indigenous Kenyans and when that happens, it is usually on an employer-employee basis. The thing about Kenya is that the race relations are an open secret that everyone knows and talks about -often times in a disparaging manner but to keep politically correct I cannot get into.
So when KTN carried a story about a Luhya who is not only married to a Kenyan Indian but has moved back to his village of origin with her, they caused quite a stir. Personally, the only thing I am interested in (also not true but keeping in line with political correctness) is why anyone would trade the comforts of city life for the village. Guess I will have to ask my mummy that the next time I see her.
Still, for the romantics in our midst, this is a true testament to the adage that love knows no bounds but I cannot say I understand this. This is truly beyond my scope of understanding but I do wish the couple well. Anyway, check out the KTN report below:
