Kiss TV Vows to Play Sauti Sol’s Steamy Video Even if Other Stations have Banned it
Last week, ace boy-band, Sauti Sol outdid itself when it released a video that went on to break records on YouTube. The same week saw, the steamy video – Nishike – get banned from airing on TV.
The ban seems to have spurred the video into virality as over the weekend, Nishike crossed 200,000+ views mark on YouTube.
While it’s quite clear that other TV stations will not be playing the video any time now, Kiss TV has distanced itself from the rest and declared that they will air the now controversial video.
Reacting to a Ghafla! article the infotainment TV station maintained that Nishike will be aired and urged its fans to keep it locked;
@SautiSol Video Nishike banned on TV? Well #KeepItKISS we play the video hourly!! http://t.co/XmTmbM4vpg @GhaflaKenya
