Kidero Vents His Anger On This Nairobi Driver, Leaves Him In Tatters (Photo)

The Nairobi County boss can be described as a man under siege after politicians and Kenyans turned against him, with many accusing him of bringing down Mumias Sugar Company by embezzling its funds, something that has prompted Kidero to go to court and get an order barring Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale from discussing him in public.

Kidero was visibly angry when addressing congregants at a church in Eastlands, vehemently denying any wrong doing during his days as the MD of Mumias Sugar.

His anger was manifested once again when he attacked a Nairobi driver yesterday after what he said is a blatant pollution of the environment.

The governor posted a photo of a vehicle and said its driver was littering the city by throwing mango peels recklessly.

The governor went ahead to return the heat to Nairobians who have in the recent past put his government on the spotlight for poor drainage and pollution, saying that it is people like him who litter the environment and later on yap on how Kidero has failed to tackle the problems.

He said:

A big shame to the driver of this vehicle for throwing mango peels on the road. These are the same people who complain that Nairobi is dirty and they are the same people littering the City! Cleanliness is our responsibility. …please litter responsibly.

Let’s make Nairobi City clean.

However, Kenyans were not left behind in this conversation. Some sided with the governor while others differed with him.

Here are some reactions:

Gen Kombo Elijah why was he not arested

Thomas Yebei Bwana Governor…the complain should be by a resident like me. You have the power to look for the driver of this car and arrest the culprits

Anne Muga Now Please tak enext steps. Name and shame the individual. Let him apprear on national TV as a garbage enhancer. Then ask him to volunteer to do community service cleaning up Nairobi . Complete with a Box Vest saying – I will never litter again.

Eugene Apindi Ochieng How can you “litter responsibly” bwana Gavana?

Watson Kiama II A fruit peel is biodegradable. Nairobi was way cleaner when we had mayors. We had landscapers clearing bushes and trimming grass, workers picking up litter while sweeping roads in the morning even along Jogoo road, and streetlights that worked. Wasn’t their budget alot lower than yours?
