Khalwale and Martha face off on twitter

Kakamega senator, Boni Khalwake has weighed in on the departure of Narc Kenya chairperson, Martha Karua from Coalition for reforms and democracy terming her ‘a Nobody’ who added no value to Cord.
Khalwale took to his twitter handle and chastised the iron lady for her decision to endorse President Uhuru Kenyatta’s second term bid in 2017, saying just like 2013 presidential candidate, Peter Kenneth she had no value in Cord since she had no votes.

Not one to take it lying down, Martha Karua In a quick rejoinder fired back at the senator claiming she was never in the Cord coalition in the first place rather she was merely working with the opposition.

Martha Karua’s move caught many by surprise, since she had been a fierce critic of the president Uhuru government terming it as corrupt and incompetent. During the anti-IEBC protest March popularly dubbed  ‘tear gas Monday’ Martha joined cord principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula on the streets calling for the reconstitution of the Interim Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
Karua had largely been expected to team up with Cord and other smaller parties under the National supper Alliance (NASA) Umbrella for the 2017 general elections.
The bull fighter later on decided to calm down the fiery exchange choosing to use proverbs to insinuate a future fight.

Martha Karua has defended her decision to support President Uhuru saying she is abiding by the wishes of the people of Kirinyanga.
 she said.
