Pint-sized Chidinma has without a doubt one of the prettiest faces in the world, that girl is just drop-dead gorgeous.

Wow, some people really do know how to stir up controversy. A blogger by the name Njoki Chege has been on the line of fire for blaming men’s cheating on women’s fat, laziness and lack of style.

“I like to call a spade a spade, so when I see a fat girl, I will call her fat and not sugarcoat the truth (pun intended). Most married women I know are fat. Children or no children, you have lost your physical attractiveness and you have been reduced to a blob. Rolls upon rolls of fat and flesh jiggling around the city like nobody’s business. I look at some married women and I pity their husbands, asking myself “How do you get turned on by that?” or ‘How do you wash all that?”
I found her article distasteful and inane, because if a man is a cheater he will still cheat, even if you are as limber as a stripper, look like Halle Berry, a figure like Corazon Kwamboka, take good care of your children and enjoy a successful career. And I also think it’s a bit wrong to portray men as shallow beings whose only interest in you is looks.
Anyhow, that’s my opinion, here are some of the thoughts on this article
Njoki Chege my dear, I find your reasons as to why men cheat too shallow! So shallow I’d be embarrassed to put down my name as the author of the same. Fat, lazy and boring…Pray, tell me why does Jay-Z cheat on Beyonce? I bet she’s lazy fat and boring! Why oh why did Eric Bennett cheat on Halle Berry? Oh, she’s fat lazy and boring…!!
I rest my case.
Why do we keep giving excuses as to why men cheat? if she is fat, tell her to do something about it and drag her to the gym if you must, if she doesn’t dress well, tell her and buy her nice clothes and advise her on the hair styles you like on her, if she is boring, suggest fun things which you can do together. It is the responsibility of both husband and wife to keep a marriage and there is no excuse for cheating. People cheat because they choose to, period…if shes so bad, divorce her and marry ‘Sheila’. But cheating, there is no excuse…none whatsoever Njoki Chege
Next time, please write an article on why women cheat.
Unbelievably distasteful and out of touch with reality. The article comes off as shallow and a pathetic attempt at sucking up to men. I’m all for looking after yourself as a woman but your reasons are off, a woman should take care of her looks for own benefit not to try get validation from a man who’s probably the cause of all her changed looks. Get a grip on reality ma’am. Men cheat. Period.

Wow! pretty shallow girl you are Njoki. How can you reduce women to objects who have to look, dress and act in a certain way for her husband not to cheat? How dare you reduce men to shallow uncontrollable animals who will jump at the next attractive thing because a wife looks a certain way? It is women like you that perpetuate and allow patriarchy thrive. Narratives like these excuse irrationality, bad behavior. I see you on facebook, justifying this as truth. I laugh at your pseudo intellectualism. If only you knew that there are no absolute truths. But if only you knew that only superior line of thoughts are worthy to be penned. As a fellow commentator said, I will blame it on your lack of experience. Trust me, beauty is no achievement. It is just something you are born with. And because I know you speak to young children, I am afraid for the future if this is the sort of thing you campaign about. Telling young girls that they are only as good as they look in their homes. They are nothing without their brains and their hearts and the essence of their being if they are not beautiful, if they do not meet the stands of beauty of the moment, is simply put pathetic.
