Kenyans Celebrate 1st Anniversary Of Celebrated Gospel Singer…His Untimely Demise Exactly A Year Ago Is Still Fresh And Hurting
It was on 6th April, 2014 when the country woke up to very disturbing news that one of the gospel industry’s finest artistes had passed away through unclear circumstances.
The passing on of Peter Kahura Kaberere famously knowns as Kaberere or Qabbz was one of the greatest setbacks in early 2014. He was not sick. Until his demise, he was healthy and lively. But as fate is, Kaberere passed on in what was said was an electrocution as he was his car.
And a year on, his friends, family and fans are celebrating his first anniversary.
Many have taken this opportunity to remember Kaberere’s works, his good deeds and as it is, some are still mourning the singer as they posted on social media.
Kaberere left a wife, Njesh wa Qabbz and two children whom fans have shown support to throughout as they remember the singer.

Today marks exactly a year since d legendary #PeterKaberere went 2be wth d Lord. I took tyme 2go thru his fb n twitter timelines, i read every detail he ever wrote or posted, u should’ve seen d look on my face, his great sense of humour kept me smiling throughout, he sure was a pple’s man, he talked abt God matters wth so much passion.
