Kenyan Record Label Produces Hit Song for a Popular Underground American Rapper

In 2012, Fardeen Productions introduced American underground artist, Q to Kenyan music scene. This came in form of a rap (what else?). Q was part of the 2012 Kisima Music Awards hip-hop cyphers, Crush Groove 666 vol. 1-3, The Ring 1-2, and One Mic 1-2.

The cyphers included some of Kenya’s best hip-hop artists such as Bamboo, Kimya, Khaligraph Jones and Kayvo K-Force. Q made history again by being the first African-American hip-hop artist to perform in Africa’s first live hip-hop cypher at the 10th annual Kisima Music Awards show.

In November, Fardeen Productions released Q’s track, Can’t Be Timid.

Can’t Be Timid was released earlier in November in both California & Nairobi by Fardeen Productions.

The track has heavy hip-hop beats but then again the thriller soundtrack gives it a horror feel giving birth to a whole new genre, something like a hip-hop horror flick.

It’s about having confidence to take certain risks and going against all odds by all means necessary achieving every goal set forth in one’s life.

Meanwhile, Q will be releasing his Fardeen-produced album, “The Last Generation” in the coming days. For now here’s Can’t Be Timid;
