Kenyan Hollywood Actress Lupita Nyong’o Kicking It With Kanye West (Photo)

Kenyan actress and filmmaker, Lupita Nyong’o is really causing ripples in Hollywood. She recently made her American film debut in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave as Patsey, and she’s not stopping there.

Her valor and willpower is her shield and spear and so far she’s kicking butt in world’s top film industry. That has made her the envy of many as she gets to rub shoulders with world’s renowned celebs. From the red carpet to the ballroom, it was a star studded night at The Hollywood Film Awards.

Everyone who’s everyone in Hollywood was at The Beverly Hilton Monday evening to honor those kicking off the golden statue season with style. Lupita, a star in her own way, got a chance to hang out with American hip hop recording artist, songwriter, record producer, film director, and fashion designer, Kanye West.

West kicked the evening off by honoring 12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen. West flew in just for the occasion and is headed back out as soon as the awards ended.
