Kenyan Artists Are a Shameless,Spineless And an Egocentric Lot. What They Did To The Late “Momo Singer Is Unspeakable!

The shamelessness displayed by these “elite folk” is despicable, nauseating, irritating and all shades of lame. Allow me to jog your mind a little. Last week, we got the sad news that the “momo” hitmaker had met an untimely end while receiving treatment at a local hospital. The country over, his fans are still speculating on the eerie nature of his illness and consequently so, his death.  

 The Industry’s leads like Churchill Ndambuki eulogized Murimi as a star in his own sense. Radio stations and media houses were extra supportive of the family till the time the artist was interred. -Ben Githae, a top gospel artist speaking on behalf of the crew commended the media for the support accorded to the fallen star and the family that he left behind- Indeed, that is what he called the spirit of “supportiveness” 

He was however not impressed at what was a show or backwardness by artists from Uptown. -You know the “cool kids” who still think that vernacular artists are not on the same level as they. Shame! Some of you have music that not even 10 year-old would listen to! 

Ben Githae has disclosed to us that among all the thousands of artists from “uptown”, only Jaguar attended the Funeral and visited the family in mourning before the funeral. 

It looks like only Jaguar could find time in his tight schedule to go visit a bereaved family. – No one asked you artists to go listen to Vernacular songs. All that was required of you (note I used the  word “required) was that you go mourn with the family of the bereaved. Just that. 

Take this: Shame on you for thinking that you’re better off as artists. Shame on you for displaying your ego at a time when the music circles needed your support.
