Zari’s Husband Reveals How He Wooed Her Into Marriage
In a recent interview, Shakib Lutaaya, the husband of Ugandan-South African businesswoman Zari Hassan, opened up about their relationship.
Lutaaya said that he had been interested in Hassan for a long time. He used to attend her White Parties in Uganda to see her. When he moved to South Africa five years ago, he followed her to the mall and introduced himself.
The two started developing a friendship, which eventually blossomed into a relationship. They got married recently in South Africa, and Hassan confirmed that she sold the rights to their wedding to Netflix so that it could be aired on the Young, Famous, And African reality show.
Hassan also revealed that her ex-boyfriend, Diamond Platnumz, will be on the third season of the show. She said that Platnumz wanted to meet Lutaaya because he spends more time with his children than Platnumz does.
Hassan said that the two men were “very cool” about meeting each other. Platnumz acknowledged that he is no longer in his children’s lives and said that he is happy that Lutaaya is a kind and cool guy. Hassan said that Platnumz and Lutaaya are now good friends.
