She playfully admitted to “leaving the home” for Otuoma’s wife, Rachael. “This lady Rachael, I’m the one who left the home for her. If I wanted, I could have been there, but you know people from Siaya and Gem don’t stay together for long,” she quipped.
Sharon went on to humorously remark about her roots in Makongeni and how she didn’t understand relationships back then. “I wonder where he got this lady… but she helped him. They built a house and even had a wedding. If it were me, we would’ve stayed in Makongeni.”

Sharon fondly reminisced about their youthful dreams and days as football players. “The last time we saw each other was during our KCSE exams. We didn’t even wait for the results; we just knew we wanted to play football,” she shared.

“I carried this guy. They would call me at least twice a month for medications only available outside. Rachael seemed weak and tired, but I kept encouraging her because I had dealt with a similar situation with a relative who was sick for 17 years,” Sharon said.

Sharon urged Kenyans to exercise compassion and avoid fueling tensions between Rachael and her mother-in-law. “Caring for the sick is no joke. Pray for Rachael and her mother-in-law to reconcile and live in peace. Rachael is young, and she even built a home. Let’s support them with prayers instead of criticism,” she appealed.
