Willy Paul faces backlash after announcing he is copying Bahati to start own reality show
Bahati started his own reality show dubbed ‘Being Bahati’ which first aired on NTV on August 19th 2018. The show stars Bahati, his wife Diana Marua and other people involved in the singer’s life.
‘Being Bahati’ has been a success judging from the accolade it has received so far and reactions it generates online, the show has been nominated for Best TV show in Kenya in Kalasha Awards 2018.
Rivalry reignited
Willy Paul and Bahati have always competed in as far as music is concerned. The two gospel singers are about to take their rivalry to the next level after Willy Paul announced the coming of his own reality TV show.
The singer explains that the drama at his Syokimau residence was part of his reality show. Willy caused a stir when he was seen slapping a woman in a video that went viral on social media.

Willy’s announcement that he was starting his own reality show was however not well received by Kenyans on social media. The singer was trolled for copying Bahati when he made the announcement in a video posted online.
