Controversial singer Willy Paul has addressed his well-known habit of sliding into women’s DMs on Instagram. This behavior has been repeatedly exposed by various women, and some social media users have labeled it as bothersome.

While Willy Paul admits to his actions, he defends himself by claiming that he means no harm. He argues that his intention is simply to greet people he finds attractive.
“When you see someone attractive, wouldn’t you want to say hello? That’s all I’m doing. I greet them in the name of God,” Willy Paul explained on the Mic Cheque podcast.
He dismissed the complaints, noting that he often starts conversations by sending Bible verses when women provide their contact information. “If you ask most of the women I’ve messaged, you’ll find that I start by sending a Bible verse. That’s where we begin, and then we see how things progress,” he added.

Unfazed by the criticism, Willy Paul has no intention of changing his approach, believing he is not causing any harm. In July, he even announced on Instagram that he would be reaching out to beautiful Kenyan women via direct messages for a significant project.
“Are you a beautiful lady? Model type? Expect me in your DMs personally. If you see me asking for your number, don’t be surprised… I’ve got work for you!” he wrote.
