Why Kenyans Enjoy Seeing Jimal Roho Safi Stumble

Kenyans are laughing at Jimal Roho Safi and I really can’t help but be amused at the turnout of the gambit he ran. I did my bit to warn him. He was busy gallivanting around Kenya with Amber Ray and it was all at the expense of his wife Amira’s peace of mind.

He was the cock about town. He was strutting like we were fools for speaking out about the issues he was creating and now he is eating his humble pie. But it is not fun if we allow him to eat his humble pie in peace.

So what can we do? We can look at how not to get into the mess he got himself into. A mess that he is now putting firmly on Amira’s head claiming she introduced him to the problems they faced -which is so lame.

Anyway, Jimal Roho Safi was on his purest simp energy. He was busy tricking and treating Amber ray to the point he allegedly gave her Amira’s Bluetooth speaker. He was foul and flagrant about his disrespect and all of this culminated in Amira revealing she is tired of their marriage and while they are married on paper, she has checked out.

Kenyans watched all this unfold and they were triggered. Those who have had to deal with such disrespect were very upset. They were “big mad” and now they have the opportunity to sate their hunger for parity.

And then there are the rest of us Kenyans who are happy to allow our schadenfreude to run amok. We love seeing a reduced Jimal Roho Safi have to contend with his folly. Because while I personally do support polygamy, there are rules and regulations to this game that must be observed. What he did was foul and it has fed the narrative that all men are dogs.

Jimal Roho Safi thought he could get away with being so openly disrespectful. We kept wondering what is going on in his home because he has two sons who will grow up to shoulder their mother’s anger at him. How could a man be so short-sighted?

But it’s not all gloom and doom. Jimal can now focus on cleaning out his closet and getting rid of all his yes-men friends and the friends who gave him bad advice. That is ideally what should happen. But I doubt it will behind the fact that he has taken to posting about how wives should be careful who they introduce to their husbands. Zero accountability means zero chances he will change.
