Vera Sidika responds to haters in her new jam ‘Mimi’
Vera Sidika is back with a new jam dubbed Mimi. This single comes in at a time when she is said to have gone to factory setting. The Kenyan socialite has been trying to get into the music industry since her earlier days with ex-lover Otile Brown.
Mimi is a jam that states that she is still the one. She has done it in Swahili which is a language conversant with most locals. Who told these socialites that they can also sing?
I am sorry if I offend you on what am about to say.. Vera is not a musician and whoever advised her should be stopped. But anyway we all have got different tastes in music.
It seems like music is becoming the new way in which people respond to stupid things in life. I mean look at Vera Sidika talking to her haters. Anyway does it matter how the message is delivered?
Production of ‘Mimi’
Mimi has involved a couple of brains and hands on from few people. To start with, the song is Vera Sidika’s own composition. Also, the audio has been produced by Ihaji. Mimi got the best in terms of audio. The beats are in sync and I must say they are good in as much as I don’t feel the song.
In addition to the good audio production, we cannot forget the video director. This one did a perfect job in this jam. It was done by Nezzoh Montana. It is always good when quality is considered in every art work.
To add to this, the video is good and I must say it is that of international standards. I just hope there was enough energy to accompany this video..
Message
The message is so simple. You’ll realize she is talking about her being the same even with change of color. According to Vera Sidika, logic can get you from point A to B, Imagination can get you everywhere. Mimi is depicting the essence of audacity in life.
The song gets a rating of 5/10.
