In response to doubts, Vera took a decisive step by publicly sharing her marriage certificate. This action aimed to dispel rumors suggesting that she married Mauzo solely for his genetics, with the intention of having children.
Vera directly addressed her critics on social media, expressing frustration at the accusations. She questioned the logic behind fabricating a legal marriage and emphasized that her parents were unaware of the ceremony due to its private nature.
“They didn’t know because it wasn’t a wedding,” Vera clarified. “We had a Nikkah with a well-known Kenyan Sheikh. It all happened very quickly.”
Furthermore, Vera vehemently rejected claims of using Mauzo solely for children, asserting that if she wanted kids, she could have opted for sperm banks to avoid any baby daddy drama. She emphasized that she wouldn’t have invested three years in a marriage solely for children.
