Vera Sidika Explains Origin Of Her Daughter’s Name, Says She Doesn’t Follow Old Traditions
There’s no stopping Vera Sidika from shutting down shenanigans who have been criticizing her ever since her pregnancy reveal from way back in June 16th. After a successful delivery about 2 weeks ago, the socialite has still been busy engaging her fans in talks on how to raise a young one.
Baby Asia Becoming A Big Deal
One of them was protocols of naming them. Vera Sidika’s daughter Asia has already gained popularity than many celebrities- evident in her newly opened Instagram account; where she has fetched over 48K followers in less than 2 weeks.
This is however, not a surprise to us, considering that her parents are already public figures with a huge following.
Vera Sidika’s unique name to her daughter got her scolding a lot of people who didn’t know how to pronounce it.
”If you have a problem with pronouncing our child’s name right, better call her Brown Junior. The kinda ridiculous pronunciations I’ve heard of Asia (continent) got me wondering if I’m living in the same world as everyone else…”
With such a peculiar name (Asia Brown), Vera explains that it was all her idea and she didn’t have to follow old traditions of naming children. Sharing on her Insta stories, she wrote;
”We haven’t named Asia after anyone. We don’t follow culture sijui old school traditions.
She continued to urge her fans to be free in naming their children without necessarily having to follow naming traditions.
