Uhuru’s niece and KICC boss Nana celebrates 19 years of being sober 

KICC managing director Nana Gecaga has been a key campaigner against alcohol consumption. The MD, who is President Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece, has confessed several times how alcohol almost ruined her life.

Nana recently took to social media to celebrate hitting almost a decade without touching alcohol. She asked her fans not to lose hope if they are fighting alcoholism.

Never too late

“Team5min lesson: “It’s never too late” 19 years ago I stopped drinking and have never gone back…. what does that mean? Well it means I’m now living my best life and today I just want to thank EVERYONE who stood by me THEN,NOW and ALWAYS and NEVER let me go back ?? I also want to let everyone out there know it’s never too late and WHATEVER your going through your NOT ALONE and never be ashamed to ask for help.” She posted.
