Uhuru’s government acts swiftly to pull down Mutahi Ngunyi’s video explaining the cause of Nkaissery’s death

President Uhuru’s staunch supporter Mutahi Ngunyi was bold enough to question the death of Mutahi Ngunyi and this didn’t go down well with the government.

The controversial political analyst questioned the death of the former Interior CS from the very moment it was announced that he had passed on.

“Death of Nkaissery DOES NOT ADD UP. Security Ministers DO NOT DIE 30 days to ELECTION. They are NOT ALLOWED to DIE. It is an Assassination,” Mutahi Ngunyi tweeted on July 8th.

Ngunyi went further to discuss Nkaissery’s untimely death on his YouTube channel ‘The Fifth Estate’. In the video, Ngunyi reasserts his opinion about Nkaissery’s death, he stated that the fallen CS was assassinated.

ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru asked Google to pull down Mutahi Ngunyi’s video on Nkaissery’s death stating that it was creating unnecessary tension in the country.

Ngunyi was however adamant that his video was only answering the question that Kenyans needed answer. He responded to the accusations through his recent episode of The Fifth Estate.

“These past weeks some fellows from government attacked us and accused us of being biased. For the avoidance of doubt, I want to categorically state that we are biased .We are unapologetically biased towards haters of the country, against those who said that Kenya is no longer viable and the crooked media. If supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta which we do is wrong, we do not choose to be right, If criticizing opposition leader Raila Odinga is wrong, we do not choose to be right,” Mutahi said.
