Top 10 songs former US President Barack Obama thinks were the best hit in 2017

Barack Obama is continuing with his tradition of naming his favorite songs of the year. The former US President listed songs he thinks were the best in 2017.

Obama started a tradition of sharing his reading lists and playlists during his presidency. The retired President routinely invited artists to White House to spend quality time with them.

“During my presidency, I started a tradition of sharing my reading lists and playlists. It was a nice way to reflect on the works that resonated with me and lift up authors and artists from around the world. With some extra time on my hands this year to catch up, I wanted to share the books and music that I enjoyed most. From songs that got me moving to stories that inspired me, here’s my 2017 list — I hope you enjoy it and have a happy and healthy New Year,” wrote Barack Obama in part on Facebook.

Jay-Z in the mix

Obama named his favorite rappers years ago. Jay Z, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, and Drake are the rappers Obama likes the most.
