Today, John Matara will appear in court to be charged with the murder of Scarlet Wahu

John Matara, the primary suspect in the murder of socialite Starlet Wahu, is set to be arraigned in court this morning. The police had requested seven days to investigate the matter.

Wahu was found murdered in an Airbnb in South B, Nairobi. Her body was discovered in the Airbnb where she had checked in with a man believed to be her boyfriend.

A post-mortem examination revealed that she had been strangled, and a deep-cut wound on her thigh had severed a vein, causing a significant loss of blood that ultimately led to her death.
