Title: 7 Counties Facing Power Outages Today, Thursday
Some areas in seven counties will face planned power outages on Thursday, as announced by Kenya Power.
The affected counties include Nairobi, Bomet, Trans Nzoia, Elgeyo Marakwet, Kirinyaga, Meru, and Kiambu.
In Nairobi, power supply will be interrupted in Ridgeways and surrounding areas, including Safari Park Hotel, Jambo Grill, Milele, Sunstar Hotel, Top Quality Garage, and nearby customers.
In Bomet, areas such as Siongiroi and Labotiet will be affected. This includes Emarti Market, Lalela Farm, Siongiroi Market, Chebunyo Market, Sigor Market, Kaboson, Katare Lelaitich, and surrounding areas.
In Trans Nzoia, there will be power outages in Endebes and Panocal areas. Other affected locations include Area 51, Toro, Kapchepsir, Sabwani, Kimoson Girls, Kipsingori, Botwa, Karara Farm, Pembe Farm, Kapchepsir, Kimoson School, Kachibora, Mito Mbili, Geta, Kiptoi, Kipkeikei, Kapkarw Kimoson, Kaplamai, Kipsingori, Botwa, Karara, Yuya, Moisbridge, Conbelt, and adjacent customers.
In Elgeyo Marakwet, Kapcherop, Chebai, and Kibigos areas will experience interruptions. This includes Kapcherop Market, Chebai Centre, Kibigos, Makutano, Kapyego, Kapsait, Kimnai, Sitoton Market, Yemit Secondary, and surrounding customers.
In Kirinyaga, power supply will be disrupted in Baricho, Njeru, and Githae. Affected areas include Baricho Market, Baricho Boys, Njeru Githae, Thumaita West, Kiambwe Booster, Kiandai Market, Riamugaa Market, Blue Valley, Kiandagai Secondary, Multiple Academy, Kanjai Market, Kathaka, Gathuthini Primary and Secondary, and adjacent customers.
In Meru, Akaiga and Kunati will experience power interruptions. Areas affected include Secondary, Akaiga, Kooju Market, Kaathi Primary, Kamujine Dispensary, Kunati Market, Ngongoaka Primary, Mulango, Ametho, Athwana Mikinduri, Amatu, and adjacent customers.
In Kiambu, the power supply will be interrupted in several locations, including Fairy Flowers, Wet Farm Thangati, Sovereign Suites, St. Julian’s, Red Hill One, Red Hill Heights, Red Hill Villas, 2020 Estate, Tropical Heat, Zerenty, Redhill Flowers, Wandue Farm, Mount Olive, Flora Delight, Rosen, Lisa Farm, Eva’s Garden, Rurigi Farm, The Retreat, and nearby customers.
Additionally, the Munyu area, including Magajo Primary, Farainya St. Paul Gatuanyaga, Magana Primary, Munyu Girls, Munyu Dispensary, Munyu Police Station, Githima S/Center, Komo S/Center, and surrounding customers, will also be affected.
In Karuri, Banana, and Ndenderu, power supply will be interrupted at Karuri Hospital, Banana, Njoro, Kianjogu, St. Tito, Rueno, parts of Gacharage, and adjacent areas.
