Conducted between October 1 and October 4, just prior to the public participation exercise, the poll reveals notable regional differences in public sentiment.

Overall, Kenyans are nearly divided on the impeachment motion, with 41% supporting Gachagua’s removal and 38% opposing it. This division underscores the contentious nature of the political climate as the country confronts issues of leadership integrity and accountability.

The motion to impeach Gachagua has ignited intense debate within the National Assembly, as the political consequences of this decision could be extensive. Interestingly, 2% of the population remains undecided on the issue.
