Flaqo’s aunt has criticized Keranta, pointing out reasons for her difficulties in maintaining relationships. She attributes Keranta’s struggles to two key issues: her materialistic focus and reluctance to embrace traditional household responsibilities.
“Keranta is one of those Nairobi women who, once married, can’t stay in the village. They only want trips to Dubai, fancy nails, hair, and vacations,” Flaqo’s aunt remarked.

She also reflected on Flaqo and Keranta’s past relationship, noting that although they would meet occasionally on Fridays, she was displeased with Keranta’s disregard for Flaqo’s parents. She felt that Keranta wasn’t encouraging Flaqo to include his parents in their outings.
“The problem is, some women don’t realize that a mother-in-law also deserves to have fun. You only focus on yourself while your mother gets trips to Mombasa, but the boy’s mother has never even set foot there,” Flaqo’s aunt explained. She added that when they split, even the car gifted to Keranta was taken back.
This was later confirmed by Keranta herself during an interview with Nation, where she stated, “It is true he repossessed the car he gifted me.”
Flaqo’s aunt believes that unless Keranta changes her priorities, lasting love may continue to elude her.
