‘This Is Not how I Envisioned Valentine’s Day’-Ciru Muriuki Pens Emotional Message To Late Fiance Charles Ouda
For the first time, Kenyan journalist and media personality Angela Wanjiru Muriuki, often known as Ciru Muriuki, has talked publicly about the death of her fiancé, Charlie Ouda.
Nonetheless, she had the chance to publicly commemorate their connection and share her sincere feelings during the celebration held to celebrate Charlie’s life.
Following Charlie’s death, Valentine’s Day took on an entirely unexpected meaning, as expressed by Ciru Muriuki, who expressed her sorrow and shock.
Rather than the little, low-key celebration they had imagined, she was celebrating his life in the middle of a heavy heart.
“This is not how I envisioned Valentine’s Day. We weren’t going to go all grand. We probably be home, either at his house or mine, and he’d make one of his elite sandwiches. then he’d make me a strong cocktail to marinate me. Instead of that am right here honoring this man and it still doesn’t feel real,” Ciru Muriuki said.
Ciru Muriuki thought back on their special times spent together, remembering Charlie’s culinary prowess and their mutual appreciation of the arts and inventiveness.
“Charlie was a true artist. He appreciated all forms of art… He was not a snob. He looked at it as an opportunity to learn. Thanks to him I gained a deeper appreciation of the creative arts… he was a visionary. He was a vessel that constantly shared with others,” she said.
The immensely talented actor was hailed as one of the best in the business. The loss has affected the entertainment industry. May he rest in peace.
