The gospel industry needs to find a new sound

The gospel industry used to be big three years ago (or so) but somewhere along the way, it was overtaken by the secular industry but have you ever wondered why? What happened? Where did the rain start beating them?

Also read: Are Kenyan gospel musicians asleep?

Well, I think I have a few pointers as to why. I feel that the gospel industry has remained stagnant for a very long time, save for Willy Paul, everyone sounds the same way they did when the gospel industry was at its peak. Don’t they though?

If there’s anything that I have learnt it’s that Kenyans get bored really fast. As such, artists have to find ways of making sure that whatever they are putting out is not monotonous. They need to switch up the sound every and then.

Bahati
Bahati

You see, the reason why the secular industry is doing well at the moment is because there is a new sound. Some people might have concerns about it but the fact is that most people find it entertaining. The truth is also that Kenyans will get bored with it a few years down the line.

The gospel sound has remained the same since time immemorial. Once in a while you’ll see someone taking a different approach but when they realise that it’s not working, they quickly switch back to their old styles and this should not be the case.

In as much as gospel songs are all about praising God and winning back people to Christ, it doesn’t mean that they should not have a small element of entertainment. Gospel songs should not really be all about crying from the time the songs starts to the end.

Mr Seed
Mr Seed

It’s about time our local gospel artists realized that we need something different. I don’t even know what they should do, I only know that they should do something. Enough said!

Willy Paul has completely lost it, he’s really possessed!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Willy Paul. I’m one of the few people who has never been put off by his unbecoming behaviour until recently when he released a song that mocks Christianity titled Lamba Nyonyo.

Just like his other die-hard fans, I have always dismissed his stunts as immaturity but what he released that song on Tuesday I was completely dumbfounded. Actually, part of me was shattered.

Willy Paul
Willy Paul

You see, Willy Paul is really talented and this expains why he gets away with many things but for the first time in my life, many people, including yours truly, felt disgusted by him.

In my opinion, the Tam Tam hitmaker has completetly lost it. I feel like his friends should reach out to him and help him in seeking divine intervention because this is beyond abnormality.

People joke about it every now and then but Willy Paul might actually be possessed. It’s what it is.

I don’t know what he needs to do but I know that he need to find himself before it’s too late. He needs to go back and trace his steps and remember what drew him to Christianity.

But then again, maybe it’s too late, maybe he has reached a point of no return and it all goes downhill from this point.

If that is then case then we are grateful for the great hits that he treated us to when he still had a purpose, when he could remember that his work was to win souls through his music.

Watch Lamba Nyonyo below and tell us what you think.

Willy Paul’s new jam ‘Lamba Nyonyo’ angers Kenyans (Video)

Gospel singer Wilson Abubakar Radido, alias Willy Paul, dropped a new jam on Tuesday and many people are not pleased with him, even his die-hard fans.

Dubbed Lamba Nyonyo, the song is seemingly a corruption of the popular hit by Ethic titled Lamba Lolo.

In as much as there’s so much pressure from the new-age artists, I feel like Willy Paul totally crossed the line with this jam. The best word that describes it is distatesteful, okay I mean disgusting!

Willy Paul
Willy Paul

It not only lacks a message, it also very boring since it seems like Willy Paul is “Utalamba nyonyo” from the time the song begins to the time it ends.

Apparently, the message was you can suckle on the breasts of Jesus Christ or was it? I honestly don’t know. I even felt ashamed reviewing this song.

Interestingly, Willy Paul still insists that he is a gospel singer. I know you are also puzzled!

This jam is so mediocre, it has to be Willy Paul worst release yet. I honestly wonder what was going through his mind as he was in studio. Did he even stop to think, wait  what am I even doing? I guess not.

Even after getting a lot of backlash over this jam, he does not want to pull it down. Maybe, just maybe he is enjoying every moment. He wanted Kenyans to talk about him and you know what? He won!

Watch Lamba Nyonyo below and tell us what you think.

Willy Paul drops Lamba Nyonyo

Controversial gospel artist Willy Pozee has dropped a new song dubbed Lamba Nyonyo that has left many with mixed feelings towards his entire career.

For a while now the artist has ensured to trend  with using controversy which seems to be working in his favor.

Willy Paul
Willy Paul

His latest song is clearly something you will not be hearing from your favorite gospel radio station; because of the message Willy Paul decided to share in this new hit.

Not quite sure what his main aim was – but if  he released the song for publicity reasons then I guess he is quite happy with the response he has been receiving so far on his page.

Fans react

Judging from the comments dropped by fans, we can say that it was received both positively and some can’t stand it!

Anyway check out some of the comments left under Willy Paul’s post below.

Timmy Tdat Vs Willy Paul Vs Khaligraph: Who is the best live performer?

When you attend a gig, you expect to be entertained and this largely depends on the performers and what they do on stage. Truth is, anyone can get on stage but very few people can own it. (I sound like a motivational speaker at this point).

I have attended a couple of gigs over the last few years and watched some on YouTube and in my honest opinion some of the best live Kenyan performers are; The Kansoul, Jua Cali, Juliani, Nameless, Sauti Sol, Avril, Timmy Tdat, Willy Paul and Khaligraph Jones.

Today, we’ll focus on the last three names because they are individuals who are current i.e. they don’t belong to any groups and they have been in the game for almost the same period of time and they are still relevant to date.

We would like to find out who among the three you consider the best live performer and why. What makes each of them stand out and why? We want to know how they manage to pull large crowds to their events.

Willy Paul

Apart from having mad energy while performing, the Tam Tam hitmaker is known to pull stunts on stage. He always does something unexpected perhaps this is why his fans can’t get enough of him.

Timmy Tdat

The Kipopo hitmaker is not only energetic, he also knows how to interact with the crowd. To add to that, he’s likely to dance seductively with a girl on stage during a gig.

Khaligraph Jones

The O.G as he is popularly known is good at crowd control. He’s not jumpy like the other two but if you attend his gig, you’ll definitely get value for your money. He has a unique style of entertaining his fans and in my opinion, it works for him.

According to you, who among the three is the be best live performer? Tell us!

Why you will not be seeing Willy Paul’s son anytime soon

Controversial gospel artist Willy Pozee might be one who likes to stay on the limelight but the singer says he wants a different life for his baby boy, Damian.

Unlike most celebrities who prefer opening Instagram pages and posting their babies photos on social media; Pozee says he will not be doing this.

Mimi btw niko na mtoto ako 12 months na mamake ni Mwarabu fulani tu anajielewa mbaya. Mtoto ni wa kiume anatwa KingDamian jina lake la kwanza.

King Damian

According to the singer, he will respect his son’s privacy until he is old enough to decide whether he wants to be a popular person or not.

Huyo ashakuwa star already. Ni venye sinanga time ya petty fame because hauko sure huyu mtoto akigrow kama hio ndio lifestyle anataka kama anataka kuwa famous kama wewe maybe ni msee anataka akigrow akuwe na private life yake.

Pozee has also refused to share any details about his baby mama or whether they are living together as a family.

“He paid me Ksh 400k for just agreeing to meet with him!” Jalango praises Willy Paul

Jalango is one hard man to please and so far we have witnessed his online ‘fights’ with several celebrities in the country; however he now seems to have found a favorite local celeb he gets along with.

Thanks to his latest post where he is seen praising Willy paul, Jalango goes on to spill a few details about the singer we knew nothing about.

Apparently about a week ago Willy’s Paul reached to the Milele FM radio presenter hoping to meet with him for a business proposal.

Due to Jalango’s busy schedule the two agreed to meet a week later (yesterday) and surprisingly Willy Paul handed Jalas Ksh 400k for just showing up for the meeting.

Willy Paul’s new MC

According to Jalango, the controversial artist hired him to be his personal MC now that he had 29 gigs around the world; and was in need of a professional MC to represent him.

Jalango who was surprised by Pozze’s gesture went on to praise the singer on Instagram by writing to say;

Nandy denies ever being in a romantic relationship with Willy Pozze

Thanks to their steamy photos taken during their Nairobi show, many believe that Willy Paul and Bongo singer Nandy were/are an item.

The two have been photographed getting a bit too close than normal friends would or rather than two artists doing business together.

However, this showbiz business demands all efforts if an artist wants to sell his or her own projects to fans; and I guess this is what Pozze and Nandy were up to and yes…their fans bought it too!

Not my lover

With fans both in Kenya and Bongo embracing this new ‘relationship’ Willy’s pozze’s biogeography on Wikipedia has been edited adding Nandy as his spouse.

When tagged on the screenshot making rounds on most Bongo Instagram tabloids, Nandy went on to deny saying that the love of her life is not in this world (passed on).

Nandy

Incase you also thought the two had something going on, then her response to the post below will help you understand better.

Willy Paul

“There is no turning back at this point!” Willy Paul officially quits gospel music

Singer Willy Paul indeed knows how to keep his fans talking. For a while now the controversial gospel artist has been releasing songs that no longer appear to be gospel; and for the very first time he confirmed that he will be sticking to the current style of music he has been releasing.

He revealed this during his tour in Tanzania where he is working hand in hand with singer Nandy. The two artists have already proved to have a strong chemistry when it comes to working together; and for this reason fans now expect more collaborations from the two.

No more gospel music

This past weekend seems that Willy Paul was out to prove that he no longer felt like hiding the real him judging from his electric performance with Nandy on stage.

From the photos making rounds on social media one can clearly see that Willy Paul is no longer hiding the real him – and also his latest post confirmed that he will not be turning back anytime soon.

Pozze

Willy Paul bashed over his explicit photos with Nandy

Controversial singer Willy Paul seems to have quit releasing gospel music and is now focused on doing what he thinks is best for his career.

This past weekend during the Choma na Ngoma festival Willy Paul left many shocked after his performance with Nandy; and truth be told the singer didn’t seem to care much.

Willy Paul and Nandy

From the photos shared on his Instagram it’s evident that Willy Paul is all about giving his fans nothing but full entertainment.

Fans call out Willy Paul

However his gospel fans could not come into terms with the fact that Willy Paul has opted to venture into secular music.

Judging from some of the comments left under his ‘raunchy’ Photos one can see how aggressive some fans got while others went on to warn him against going the calling of God.

Well… I guess it’s all about entertainment and where the money is therefore there is no sign of Pozee will be turning back to his old music. Read the comments below;

Are Kenyan gospel musicians asleep?

I honestly feel like Kenyan gospel musicians are deep in slumber. I’m saying this because I feel that the gospel industry is not as vibrant as it was a few years ago. I feel like it has stagnated.

If you are an avid fan of Kenyan music then I’m sure you remember how the gospel industry was big five to ten years ago. Can you?

M.O.G performing on stage
M.O.G performing on stage

The gospel industry was so enormous so much so that secular artists were almost unheard of, no one even cared about them or what they were up.

The biggest song in the country at any given time was from the likes of DK Kwenye Beat, Juliani, Willy Paul, M.O.G, Benachi, Daddy Owen, Bahati, Gloria Muliro, Eunice Njeri, Mercy Masika etc.

I don’t know what happened but somewhere along the way, the secular industry overtook took over. We can debate about this until the come home but deep down you also know that this is a fact.

The gospel music is not what it was five to ten years and this begs begs the question, are Kenyan gospel musicians asleep, did they get too comfortable or are they just lazy?

Gloria Muliro
Gloria Muliro

I know it’s not a competition between the two sides. After all, they are all Kenyan. As a Christian, it just gives me comfort when the gospel industry is at the top.

Don’t get me wrong, I listen to a lot of secular music. Yup! From Sauti Sol to Ethic, anything goes. I have nothing against secular musicians.

It’s just I really miss that days when gospel music was the order of the day. Those days when gospel gigs had the biggest crowds. The days when gospel musicians were really praising God with music.

This is a clarion call to all Kenyan gospel musicians. Enough said!

¨My friend, listen, nobody steals from Pozee!¨ Willy Paul threatens Rayvanny for ´stealing´ his jam

Willy Paul calls out Wasafi´s Rayvanny for allegedly ´stealing´ his song after their collabo did not go through.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx100ctH9nn/

Apparently the two artistes are set to release singles all under the title ´Chuchuma´, as their next music project.

However, Willy Paul cannot take the betrayal therefore raises the alarm:

Okay, what´s up people.

I would like to bring this to the attention of people.

[Rayvanny] is trying to steal from a Kenyan.

https://www.instagram.com/p/ByDUxPRADII/

What Pozze does not seem to understand is how a bongo artist like Rayvanny could attempt such a move yet the two lands (Kenya and Tz), have been like brother and sister.

Yet all along Kenyans have supported their music.

I have gotten support from his country as well.

According to the controversial Kenyan artist, just because their collabo did not work, does not mean Chuma should pirate his jam.

It is so sad that he is trying to steal from me just because the collabo did not work out.

Someone is stealing my idea. It is so painful.

You cannot do that to a brother. You cannot steal and get away with it.

Willy Paul concludes by forewarning the Wasafi artist, because Pozze never loses his game!

My friend, listen, nobody steals from Pozee!

New-age musicians are so unpredictable and that’s the beauty of music

Gone are the days when every song was about hitting on fine ladies in a club, love, checking out ladies in the hood or just getting wasted.

Kenyan music has become so diverse in the last few years  so much so that there’s a song literally about anything that you can think of.

I might have some reservations about new-age musicians and how they package their songs. However, the fact is that they have played and continue to play a huge role in diversifying the Kenyan sound.

Also read: New age musicians are destroying the Kenyan sound

Unlike their older peers, new-age musicians are more spontaneous. An idea is hurriedly conceived, the next minute they are in studio recording the song.

Ochunglo Family
Ochunglo Family

Before you know it, the song is out and getting good reviews on social media as well as music streaming sites.

If you listen to Ethic, Ochunglo Family, Boondocks Gang, Zzero Sufuri, G-Rock and the likes explaining how their hit songs came to be, they all say that they were just vibing in the house and viola!

Perhaps, this unpredictability is what the Kenyan music industry needs. Think of it like this, the main reason people like Willy Paul are successful is because you never know what to expect of them.

One minute he has a gospel song that really glorifies The Lord, the next he’s getting naughty in a music video with Nandy.

Willy Paul and Nandy
Willy Paul and Nandy

Unpredictability is what makes music beautiful. For instance, Sauti Sol members have a new song where they are singing in French, Lingala and Kinyarwanda. Who would have thought?

New-age musicians have realized that impulsiveness works in the Kenyan music industry. That’s why you’ll find them singing about anything.

From matatus, smoking weed, dustbins, bedroom matters, women’s rears, KDF mandanzis, you name it. I’m sure you also agree that this unpredictability is good to a certain extent.

However, once in a while they find themselves in trouble because let’s be honest, you can’t really sing about anything and everything in a country where there are laws.

Watch Zzero Sufuri’s Zimenishika below. It’s one of my current favourites!

Willy Paul is successful because of copy-pasting Diamond Platnumz

Willy Paul is one of the most successful artists in Kenya today, no one is denying that.

However, if you take a close look at his music career you’ll realize that he has been mirroring Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz for as long as we’ve known him.

Wikipedia describes mirroring as, “the behaviour in which one person subconsciously imitates the gesture, speech pattern, or attitude of another.

Willy Paul
Willy Paul

Others people would describe that habit as mimicking, copying, imitating, impersonating, and what have you. I’m a civilized person, so I’ll say it as it it, it’s simply copy-pasting.

If you look at Willy Paul and Diamond Platnumz closely, you’ll see a l0t of similarities.

From their music styles, to their controversial lifestyles, relationship dramas, bad-boy attitudes, down to their dressing styles.

Diamond is the bigger deal between the two, you don’t need a rocket scientist to tell you that Willy Paul is the copy cat.

Actually, Willy Paul has admitted on several occasions that he looks up to the Bongo star and that the two of them just have identical lifestyles and tastes.

Willy Paul and Diamond
Willy Paul and Diamond

I don’t have a problem with Willy Paul mirroring Diamond, that’s not what this article is about.

You see, the Tam Tam hit maker is a talented singer. But as you all know, talent will take you no were so he opted to borrow a leaf from Diamond so that he’s always on people’s lips.

Just like Diamond, Willy Paul portrays this image of a rebel who does not give a hoot about what anybody thinks and it’s working for him.

He is often on the wrong side of the law, releases raunchy gospel songs, has baby mamas around, owns a studio, lives a flashy lifestyle and what have you.

But then again, Willy Paul is the most successful artists in Kenya. If you’ve been to any of his events, you’ll admit that he often pulls large crowds.

He doesn’t come cheap. Word is that he charges anything from Ksh. 600,000 to Ksh. 1 millon. Yup!

When all is said and done, it seems mirroring Diamond is working for him. As they say, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.

Why it’s important for musicians to have haters

There are several songs where musicians, whether local or international, are outrightly addressing their haters and in most cases, they never have kind words for them.

Others like Willy Paul take to social media to engage in a back and forth with their critics but what they don’t know is that they would not be successful without the people who dislike them.

Willy Paul
Willy Paul

Think of it though, if you are a staunch fan of someone, you would not be honest with them because in your eyes they can do no wrong. For instance, I’ve never seen anything wrong with Sauti Sol’s music approach or their songs.

However, people who aren’t your die-hard fans are brutal. If they think an artist’s song is whack, they will tell him or her in the face and perhaps they will pull up their socks in the subsequent releases.

It’s fact that you can only grow if you have the guts to stomach criticism, whether negative or positive. Therefore it is imperative of artists to have many haters.

A good analogy is The Beat, a music show that used to air on NTV from the mid 2000s. I’m not saying that it was run by haters but forced local artists to shoot better videos because they would turn down substandard videos.

At the end of the day, the people who stands to benefit is you and I, because we are given well packaged product that we can be proud of.

Willy Paul´s reaction after tycoon shows up at the airport to pick up Nandy

¨Hallelujah¨ hitmakers, Nandy and Willy Paul have made the headlines with the most recent being Nandy´s Nairobi album launch event that the two lovingly graced, but Poze soon after left.

Yes, the two seemed to be pretty close after they arrived for the concert together, walked in together, had an interview together then got on stage together.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw92YZUhXfS/

Willy Paul even dressed up the Tanzanian singer in public.

Turn of events

However, soon after showcasing his dance moves, the cameras blacked out and could not get a glimpse of the controversial artist.

What we are not aware of is how Nandy ¨broke his heart¨ severely after an alleged tycoon showed up at the airport to pick up the youthful songbird.

According to Kiss 100´s ¨Big Scoop¨, the tycoon arrived in a limo to pick up the African Princess.

This got to Willy Paul so bad, that he had to disappear from the performance and get his pieces together.

The undisclosed source further shares that Willy Paul might have seemed jovial and excited all through, but that is just the public ´face´.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw1pG3CAUUl/

Because soon after he performed on stage, he veered off.

This we can attest to, as we recall just towards the end of Nandy´s evening performance, fans were so excited pressing for Willy Paul´s appearance, only to their disappointment.

The MC at the event cooled down the crowd informing them that probably he´d gone to take a nap or so.

Background checks

What the controversial Kenyan artist doesn´t seem to tell us, is, is he actually having a crush on the beauty?

If we are to reminisce his past interviews, Poze has come out strong and confident of his ´brother-sister´ relationship with Nandy.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BxAWi0TgvhS/

He has articulated this couple times even reiterated it on the red carpet during Nandy´s album launch.

But why is he so bitter then when a different guy shows up and seems to head towards Nandy´s direction?

Well, that, only him can reveal but we hope he is recovering.

It´s now a sibling-affair. Willy Paul dismisses claims about love affair with Nandy

Controversial ´Hallellujah´ hitmaker, Willy Paul dismisses claims that he is in a love affair with fellow female artist, Nandy from Tanzania.

´Hallelujah´ artists: Willy paul and Nandy

According to the gospel-cum-secular artist:

Nandy is my older sister, whom I respect so much.

This comes in shortly after the controversial Kenyan artist was compelled to explain the message in his most recent release with Nandy, ´Hallellujah´.

In response, according to Willy Paul, the song is just a ´love song´ and being an artist, he ought to sing:

It´s not a gospel song but ni Love song.

Alafu you know mimi ni artiste naruhusiwa kuimba.

Having a gospel-themed title, ¨Hallellujah´s¨ video depicted something completely different, with the two artists, getting too close for the gospel industry.

This has brought confusion among Willy Paul´s fans and followers who want him to clarify which path he is actually following: Gospel or Secular?

This is the second collabo between the two, after previous controversial song, ´Njiwa´.

Additionally, Willy Paul feels that his fans are losing too much energy raising their eyebrows because, he says this is just but the tip of an iceberg:

Unajua kwanza nikifanya na Rayvvanny watu walishangaa sana.

Nimefanya na Nandy pia wameshangaa.

Sasa jua wameshangaa ya kutosha sijui next project watafanya nini sasa.

Willy Paul however announced that he is in the process of signing in two male artistes under his record label, ´Saldido´.

He however declined to respond to the consistent attacks he has been receiving lately from fellow controversial gospel artist, Ringtone.

Willy Paul the beast of 254 music. He proves haters wrong yet again.

You have probably heard and read many positive and negative  stories about Willy Paul. Willy Pozze as he is commonly known is loved and hated in equal measure.

Fans and haters storm his Instagram page  that has 832,000 followers with all manner of comments and we must agree that the young chap has a strong heart because of the hate he gets.

One thing about Pozze is that he has never let negative energy get into his head. The more  hate he receives, the more he works hard to prove pessimists wrong.

The talented singer recently released a collabo with Wasafi based signer Rayvanny dubbed MMH. MMH is a love song dedicated to all beautiful ladies across East Africa and it has been dominating the airwaves.

Within 1 week, the song had garnered 2 Million views on you-tube. The song starts with Rayvanny’s  mellow voice and lyrical prowess where he praises a beautiful lady with sweet words  before Willy Paul joins in with his usual soothing voice.

The two artists complemented each other well to make the hit.  Wasafi artists are fond of outshining the artists they collabo with but Willy Paul came out strong.  He proved that his vocal prowess and lyrics are top notch.

The director of the video did a perfect job  with  amazing shots taken in different locations  and story line. You can tell that the two artists invested heavily on the video. Have you seen the beautiful video vixens in the video? Damn!!!!

This song is among the best tunes of 2019 so far. The audio and video production is top notch.

Some people have been  criticizing Willy Paul and claiming that he has gone rogue by releasing a series of love songs since he is a gospel artist  but Pozze’s loves songs are far much better than some of the crap songs we are hearing from gospel artists.

Continue releasing hits Pozze and  soothing our hearts with love songs.

Watch the MMH video  and leave a comment. Is it a hit or a miss?

Bahati, the most arrogant celebrity in Kenya

Gospel singer Kevin Bahati might appear like a very sociable person but the truth is that he is one of the most arrogant and snobbish celebrities in Kenya. He’s on the list somewhere next to Victoria Kimani.

Interestingly, his nemesis Willy Paul, who is seen as proud by many people, is actually the most affable public figure that you’ll ever come across. But that’s a story for another day.

Bahati, who fondly refers to himself as mtoto wa mama, is excessively proud. If you have a good eye, you’ll see some elements of this in his demeanour.

I interviewed the singer on several occasions while I was working for a media house a few years back and he always had this “please wrap up, I have better things to do” every single time. Many have had the same experience with him.

I once attended a presser where Bahati used offensive words while dismissing someone, presumably his fan, for fielding an “irrelevant question”. Never mind the fact that he was in the full glare of cameras.

If you randomly bump into him in public, chances are he will drive away or he will keep a straight face to ‘politely’ inform you that you should stay in your lane.

While he’s extremely conceited, Bahati is on many occasions forced to pretend that he’s the most easy going person because one of the pillars of Christianity is humility.

Willy Paul is Kenya’s most misunderstood celebrity

Willy Paul is one of the most down-to-earth celebrities in Kenya, forget the snobbish bad boy image that he has painted in the minds of many people.

Those who have interacted with him can attest to his easy-going nature. You can easily strike a random conversation with him and he’ll be invested in what the two of you are talking about from start to finish.

Of course, I can’t speak for his philandering ways because I am never with him when he’s sinning. Maybe, if he ever asks me to tag along one day, then I will have something to write about this.

Many think that he has deviated from his path of calling people to Christ and have repeatedly told him to stop referring to himself as a gospel artist.

Others have accused him of setting a bad example to people who hold him in high regard see him as a role model. Their judgments are based on what they see on social media about Willy Paul or hearsay – which is always watered down as it moves from one person to the next.

I had several opportunities to interview him while I was working for a media house two years ago and he was graceful each and every time. He never had that “hey, I’m a very busy person can we please wrap up” attitude as is the case with most Kenyan celebrities.

You could say that he pretended to be an affable person out of fear that we might paint him in bad light. But I’ve spoken to several people who agree that he’s a cool chap.

He might have developed the unruly demeanour because he’s always under the spotlight. Many of the people hold the opinion that he is supposed to have a certain lifestyle since he is gospel singer and whatnot.

However, they seem to forget that he started singing when he was young. As such, he has lived most of his post-teenage life in the full glare of the public.

Listen to his latest single Bebi Bebi below:

“You look like a fire emoji!” Willy Pozee criticized after shaving his natty dreadlocks for this new hair do

Singer Willy Paul aka Pozee is currently doing much better after announcing that he was no longer releasing gospel but love music.

This has helped minimize the scandals following him – at least for now; however he continues to try new hair styles.

After being accused of copying Diamond Platnumz dreadlocks; Willy Paul has too shaved his hair shortly after the Wasafi CEO cut down his locks.

However, according to fans Willy Paul’s new hair has left him looking like a fire emoji. This is after he decided to dye his hair blonde.

Going through the comments left under his new photos, most believe that he looks more handsome with short hair…but only when it’s black in color.

The short hair has also left him looking younger unlike before when he rocked his dreadlocks. Anyway, with a career like his…it’s understandable why he has to keep playing around with new hairstyles! Check out his new photos below.
