Ringtone offers Willy Paul half a million days after their online beef!

Ringtone and Willy Paul’s online fight is becoming monotonous and fans feel that it’s about time these two either released a song; or joined a Chama with fellow male socialites in the country.

For some reason the two have been throwing shade at each other on Instagram; and rumor has it that they could be working on a new project set to be released soon.

So far we have seen Ringtone offer Ksh 50,000 to anyone who will be able to bed Willy Paul’s sister or cousin. He went on to add that the money will only be paid after the proof is shared on social media – just to keep Willy Paul at his place.

Well, unlike Ringtone – singer Willy Paul went all out throwing insults just to keep the beef going.

As far as faking is concerned, Willy Paul seems to be taking things a-bit too far; and now some fans are no longer feeling this vibe.

For almost two weeks now Willy Paul and Ringtone have breathing down each other’s necks because of ‘Hallelujah.’

Pozee says he will release whatever he wants but Ringtone accuses him of using a Christian word in an improper way!

But all in all a reliable source has gone ahead to confirm that Pozee and Ringtone are actually good friends off social media; and have been doing this to entertain fans from both camps!

Willy Paul and Ringtone Apoko have been entertaining fans on social media with their drama for the past few days; and the gloves are on for war!

It all started after Willy Paul called out Ringtone for acting petty just after the release of his new song featuring Nadia Mukami. According to Ringtone, Willy Paul had lost his way as a Christian.

After coming across Ringtone’s post about his new song; former gospel artist Willy Paul also decided to clap back telling him to mind his business.

As seen on the post, Pozee went all out on Ringtone as he compared the busy body behavior to that of idle women! Willy wrote;

Ban the devilish

In response to the insults thrown his way by Willy Paul, controversial gospel singer Ringtone has now requested Dr Ezekiel Mutua; who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Film Classification Board to ban the song!

Through his official Instagram page, Ringtone shared the message below saying;

DEAR @dr.ezekielmutuaPLEAS BURN THIS STUPID ,EVIL, DEVILISH SONG BY WILLYPAUL AND NADIA MUKAMI TO BRING SANITY IN THIS MUSIC INDUSTRY.

While the two carry on with their circus on social media; fans are now hoping they both venture into comedy since they have proven to be talented in that area.

In most countries, the male artists dominate over their female counterparts. Even in Kenya the discussion is always about Khaligraph, King Kaka, Sauti Sol, Willy Paul, Bahati or the Gengetone artists – who are mostly male.

But somehow, there’s a female artist who has managed to break that ‘curse’ and that’s none other than the gorgeous Nadia Mukami – the lass who is behind hits such as; Si Rahisi, Yule Yule, Radio Love, Jipe, just to name a few.

In three years or so, she has gone from an upcoming artist to one of the most of the sought-after artists in the region and if you ask me, that is a commendable feat because it takes most artists a long time to get their names out there.

The truth is that Nadia Mukami is a hard worker and this is evidenced by the number of tracks that she has released since most of us came to know her.

To add to that, I think she has a good team behind her, they are always doing their best to ensure that she’s not only the best artist in Kenya but in the continent like Angelique Kidjo, Lira or Yemi Alade.

Also there is the fact that she is beautiful, has a bubbly personality and her angelic voice makes you want to listen to her songs over and over. She sounds very pleasant to the ears.

Although it’s tough being a female artist, bearing in mind all the challenges that come with it, I think Nadia Mukami has the potential. I she continues at the same pace, then maybe, just maybe, she might bag a Grammy someday.

Former gospel singer Willy Paul has been feeling the pressure from the current lock down due to the Coronavirus pandemic taking over planet earth!

So far artists like him can not afford to hold any gigs to perform from their fans since this is prohibited due to the rising virus that has left many dead. As for now people around the world continue to practice social distancing just to be safer side!

Letter to Mr President

With this, most people have been left jobless; an issue that has now pushed Willy Pozee to write Mr President a letter asking him to step in and help!

In his letter Willy Paul went on to remind the president that some people like himself have lost their jobs; and unlike before cannot afford to feed their families since their jobs are currently on a stand still!

Willy Pozee went on to add that even with the press conference Mr President has been holding; Uhuru has not addressed any issue concerning artists in the country and how they will survive now that their jobs have been banned.

The other day you had a press conference and all of us expected to hear our president’s thought on the entertainment scene. Unfortunately you did not mention a thing. Mr president, most of us depend on shows, gigs n e.t.c as we all know that our board of music has been having issues with the artists. They’ve been stealing from us.. from ringback tones to every other thing.. most of us depend on music for everything Mr President. We have families that look upto us.. right now we’re all home, not making any money…. ….

In conclusion Willy Paul reminded Mr president not to sideline artists; since he already knew that the president loves and supports music. Willy Paul lastly finished by saying;

Dear Mr President, I’m just speaking from a musical perspective, if an established musician can feel the pinch like me, what about the uprising who only makes 5000 shillings per gig and they still have to pay rent and feed their families? Willy Paul this past weekend left many talking thanks to a video shared on Jalango’s Instagram page; before the radio presenter cum comedian pulled it down from his page!

In the video which is currently circulating on social media, Willy Paul is heard making fun of Bahati’s vocals; but what took many by surprise is after Pozee decided to mention Bahati’s wife in the mix!

According to Willy Paul, Diana should at least step in to help her husband sing some parts in his songs; just to avoid him from straining his vocals! He went on to suggest that instead of eating and staying idle probably it’s time for her to join her husbands career.

Seeing his fans responded to the video, Jalang’o who was the first one to share it on social media went on to pull it down immediately: since fans did not find it funny!

Despite Willy and Bahati having beef; having dragged Diana Marua who is not just Bahati’s wife; but mother of his children into the mess seemed quite petty and uncalled for!

Not quite sure whether Jalang’o also has bad blood with the Bahati’s; but since he had a hand in circulating the video on social media it’s only right to assume that he is Willy Paul’s supporter!

However, if the video was for laughs and giggles…then why did the radio presenter pull it down or rather upload it in the first place?

Former gospel singer Wilson Abubakar Radido, better known as Willy Paul, has released a new jam and it’s getting a lot of love from his fans and critics alike.

The song titled Jamaican Gyal (Wine) has been ruling the airwaves since it came out  few hours ago and to be honest we are also feeling it.

Jamaican Gyal is a club banger and it talks about how the lady Willy Paul fondly refers to as his wife can get down in the dance floor, enough to confuse any man.

I am a huge fan of Willy Paul so you can already tell that I love this jam. However, I strongly feel like Pozze is making secular songs with gospel beats but then again maybe it’s just me.

Pozze is a dope vocalist and in Jamaican Gyal he proves that he can control his voice by not going out of tune as he moves from high to low and vice versa.

Although I’m a big fan of his, I must say that I wasn’t impressed by the lyricism in this track. The verses felt so basic and it’s like he hurried to write the song.

The beat and instrumentation on this track are on point. However, like I mentioned earlier, they would have worked better for a gospel song than a secular one.

Willy Paul is back! The former gospel singer has released a new song titled Magnetic and it has been getting so much airplay since it came out a few hours ago.

In this jam Willy Paul opens up about his affection towards a certain lass. He says that he wants to make her his wife because their love is driving him crazy.

This song is not that bad. The Chuchuma hitmaker is still trying to establish himself as a secular artist so we have to cut him some slack.

That said, Willy Paul has an amazing voice. This guy can really sing and perhaps that explains why people still listen to him even after switching sides.

He has the kind of voice that sweeps ladies, and some men over their feet and to add to that, he sings with a Coastal accent, that is what sets him apart.

However, I must say that the lyrics for Magnetic fell short of my expectations. They are so basic and it actually made me wonder this is the same Willy Paul who is known to be a good songwriter.

I don’t know about you but the rhymes sound so basic, you can almost predict what he is going to say next. To make matters worse, there is a lot of repetition take for instance the chorus. It’s really tiring.

The beat and instrumentation by Ilogos Music is on point. Other than the fact that they are catchy, they also blend so well with Pozee’s smooth vocals.

I totally love the video for this jam. Although the concept is simple, I really love the execution. It goes without saying that the vixen is sexy AF and apparently she is the gospel singer’s wife.

Since after leaving the gospel industry Willy Paul has been showing fans a side that they had never been seen before; however word has it that he got tired of pretending and decided to be himself this time around!

Bahati is a disgrace to the gospel fraternity

It’s hard to understand what Kevin Bahati has become these days. If you’ve been following his musical journey then I am sure you know that Mr Seed introduced him to the gospel industry then he went on to become a bigger artist.

There was a time when the 26-year-old singer made good music, the kind that you could listen to even when an elder person was in the room. However, I don’t know what became of him, I really don’t.

For many people, when Willy Paul started becoming unruly, being involved in scandals and releasing secular music, they saw Bahati as the better option since he was rooted in the gospel, had a family and made good music.

Lately, I’m not so sure. He has taken a whole 360 turn and he is now even worse than his nemesis Willy Paul who has since ditched the gospel industry.

If there is a scandal today, you’ll probably hear Bahati’s name in it. He is also known for exploiting artists at his EMB Record label then he was the first artist to release a Gospel Gengetone jam.

Sometimes you look at the happenings in the industry and you wonder what happened to this young man. Did he let the little fame that he has get into his head? I really don’t know what to make of his recent behavior.

I’ve always assumed that artists or pretty much anyone in the limelight have people who advice them the same would apply for Bahati since he has been in the industry for 10 or more years.

Are they quiet as they see this young man throw his career away in the name of looking for relevance? Is it okay to do so? Because I don’t like sugar coating things I’ll tell you that he is a disgrace to the gospel fraternity.

There are people who have always seen him as a role model since he has always had a good reputation. What do they think of him now? Would they even want to associate with him?

There are things that are permissible when you are a secular artist but the fact Kevin Bahati has always identified as a gospel artists should actually mean something, otherwise he is just mocking God.

Willy Paul’s congratulatory comes barely a week after Gloria Muliro opened up to share her thoughts on the singer’s controversial ways. Speaking during an interview on Milele FM, Ms Muliro revealed that she had been praying for the singer hoping that he finds his way back to the light. She went on to add that she had no issue with the choices he has been making; however if they were to work together then it would mean that she would have to sit him down for a long talk.

Through his Instagram page Willy Paul recently went on to share a new post where he couldn’t help but brag about his latest achievement despite ‘cartels’ controlling the entertainment industry trying to shut him down.

It’s hot. Its catchy, it’s Uuuh Mama. Willy Paul and Meddy are threatening to take over East Africa with their latest collaboration. Uuuh mama is a such a hit, well received by the fans who are already flooding the comments section with messages of satisfaction.

Meddy, one of Rwanda’s finest seems to be expanding his musical territory. The slowly hit maker seems to be on a quest to expand his already popular brand. Among his notable songs include Slowly, Loose control and Holy spirit.

Collabos with artists like Alaine, Rayvanny, Ommy Dimpoz, Ali Kiba among several others have been flaming hot. I just have to say what whether its gospel or secular, Pozze is just an artist and whatever he does is blissful.

Paraphrasing these lyrics will just dilute the juice but I swear I don’t lie: the song writer took his sweet time.

Furthermore,the vocals are great. I had to listen to the song more than once in order for me to get the different part that each artist is singing. For a moment I couldn’t separate the two voices. These two are great together.

If you have never liked either Willy Paul or Meddy then this is it. For now, let’s enjoy the new jam as we await the video.

Someone please tell Pozze that the video for this song has to contain his magnificent dancing skills, beautiful Rwandese girls and a duvet.

Award-winning gospel singer Wilson Abubakar Radido, popularly known as Willy Paul, has released a new song and by the look of things, it’s going to be a massive hit.

The song titled Bure Kabisa is about a  lass who Willy Paul was dating but as fate would have it, things did not work out.

In the song, the Tam Tam hitmaker says the lady lied to him that she loved and cared for him but that wasn’t really the case.

He also says that the lady cheated with many people and gave him a heartbreak. As if that is not enough, Willy Paul says that he disagreed with his mother because of her.

The way this story flows, you can’t help but wonder whether Willy Paul is just being creative or if there is more than meets the eye. I think the latter is true.

Anyway, it goes without saying that this jam is dope. You might love or hate him but you have to agree that this chap is really talented.

I know some of you will be left wondering if this is a gospel song after listening to it but you know what? It does not really matter.

The beat and instrumentation on this jam is really on point but that does not really come as a surprise since the song was produced by the one and only Motif Di Don. Props to him.

Well, Willy Paul has come to share unknown details about the music industry that has left many talking. The former gospel singer apparently claims that the Kenyan music industry is being run by cartels in the country.

Apparently these so called Cartels are in charge of what songs should hit and decide which events one should or should not attend. In a detailed post shared on Willy Paul’s page he wrote saying;

f***k all the industry cartels, look at all the love in this video!! ever wondered why some of ur favourite artists are not in some events that’s you’d expect them to be in? it’s because in Kenya if dont dance to a cartel’s tune then you are an enemy. if you act like you know ur worth ur an enemy, if you keep ur brand high ur an enemy, if you release hits ur an enemy, if you they call you for a deal and you dont give them a cut you are an enemy, and they’ll end up giving that space to someone who doesn’t deserve it.. this is so sad.. yaani it’s about who knows who!!! what’s happening to our industry??? let’s mention names.. this has to stop!! if we dont fight now, the next generation and our kids are gonna suffer very badly!!!!

Former gospel singer Willy Paul seems to have a lot going on in his private life. After keeping most of his relationships on the low…the singer has finally decided to introduce his girlfriend on social media.

This past weekend the fella surprised many after sharing a photo of a certain unknown girl and went on to wish his fans a good night from the Pozze’s on his caption.

It was just the other day when Willy Paul claimed that Tanzania’s Rayvanny had stolen his song. Well, to date we really don’t know who the legit owner of the song is.

However with all that in mind, the ever controversial once  gospel artist in the Kenyan Music industry Willy Paul is now back on the music scene.  This  time he brings us a new jam with the contentious title “Chuchuma” .

“Chuchuma” in this concept basically means drop it. From the look at the video the search for a lady with god behinds worked for him. The shaking that happens in this video might get you ignoring the the songs lyrics .

But not me.

Basically it is a feel good song in praise of women that can whine their waists. At the same time Willy goes on to larsh out at Wasafi’s Rayvanny still accusing him of stealing his song.

From the Instagram posts he even calls him “Zakayo,funnyboy”.

In all his appraissals he has mentioned Vera Sidika, Wema Sepetu of Tanzania and of course Huddah Monroe. Clearly  Bwana Mkunaji is into “Big things”.

For the lyrical break down there isn’t much to talk about but just a man putting out his frustration on someone that pissed him off. The rest of it as I said earlier is just all about shaking bums.

Production

In terms of production, well Saldido entertainment could not do any better. The audio was done by Teddy B and the song of course was written by thean himself ,Willy Paul.

As we give hit a tap on the shoulder for praisingbtge African woman, we get little skeptical on the larger message.

Further on the color and video mixing was well done and choice of models also worked for the song.

At the end Willy’s intent was to reach the “funny boy”- who we clearly know.

We will wait to see if he responds to this claims.

In the meantime below is the song enjoy.

Willy Paul is no longer releasing gospel music like before. This has been confirmed by a glimpse of his latest video that has left most of his fans with mixed feelings on social media.

In the video Willy Pozee’s vixens are seen shaking what their mothers gave them – an indication that Pozee was no longer the ‘saint’ we knew from back then!

A few weeks ago, we had a poll where we asked you to pick whose concert you would attend among Willy Paul, Khaligraph Jones and Timmy Tdat and get value for your money because, let’s face it, we all attend gigs to be entertained.

I later realized that I had not featured any female artist on that poll and that’s why I decided to do a female version of it to see who you think can really own the stage from a list of three of the most sought after Kenyan female artists i.e. Akothee, Fena Gitu and Size 8.

Having watched performances of all the three, I think they all have it in them. You will definitely have the time of your life if you attend their. events. However, today we’d like to pit them against each other to see who you would settle on if you had to pick only one.

I don’t understand why Wilson Abubakar Radido, alias Willy Paul, is still hanging on the ‘gospel artist’ tag when he goes against that Christianity teaches.

From releasing controversial music to his seductive dance moves on stage to his lifestyle, I’m sure even the man above frowns at the mention of his name.

The Tam Tam hitmaker is a talented artist, no one is denying that. However, I don’t get why he prefers to limit himself by identifying with what he’s clearly not.

By crossing over to the secular industry, Willy Paul will have the freedom to live his life however he sees fit because there are no rules on that side.

As he continues to refer to himself as a gospel artist, he makes people who identify with Christians feel like they are also restricting themselves.

They get the feeling that they can also be bad boys and ape Willy Paul’s habits and follow the teaching in the Bible at the same time.

He makes religion look like a joke since he does not even hide his ungodly ways from the public. It’s as if he’s really proud of himself.

As such, I strongly feel it’s high time he does all of us a favour and quit gospel because he won’t be the first.

Willy Paul the man full of drama in the music scene is back this time on a positive note.He has teamed up with   Tanzanian Bongo music super stars Alikiba and Ommy Dimpoz to bring us Nishikilie.

Just recently Kenyans were ranting about how disappointed they are at Willy Paul. Why? This because of his previous song Lamba Nyonyo  that some found to be offensive and unprecedented.

Well, whether he knew what he was doing  or not that is his cross to carry.

Further, just before the drama was quelled, he decides to bring us a new jam. Well played  Willy!!!

Nishikilie is a beautiful love  song. A story about love that well depicted in the lyrics .Trust the trio in the delivery of this songs lyrics.

The story about two people sharing a special kind of love to the extent of the man asking his woman to ‘Nishikilie”.Nishikile translates to Hold me.

Willy Paul starts of the song saying, UUh Baby Nimekupenda kwa ndani, nikupeleke Mombasa kwa Joho Tukakule raha mama,,,,,,,tukacheze ya zigi zigi……….

This to show how much he loves his woman.He obviously intends to keep his love close.

Further  on Alikiba joins in at the Chorus, Basi nikumbatie, nishikilie, Deka  kifuani mwangu nishikilie….Ladies do you see what I see???? Too soon? ok.

The lyrical prowess in the song will clearly be the selling factor if this song.

As we go on Ommy Dimpoz comes in the song with his magical and soul soothing vocals with, Kama moyo Ungekuwa kitabu ningekupa ukasome, basi unipe majigi jigi twende wote mama…..

The production o this song was under  the partnership of Teddy B,  Saldido entertainment by Willy Paul and Rockstar Africa of Tanzania.

It was directed by Ivan of True D pictures.

If for anything the lingala/rhumba bit of the songs beats are so beautifully done giving us the reason to dance too Pozze’s song.

This is a that we will be grooving to for a while. Willy Paul we have one request don’t mess this up rather give us another beautiful dose!!!

For this I must say Willy Paul outdid himself when he sought for this collaboration this is the kind of music Kenyans are anticipating for everyday.

Singer Muthoni Drummer Queen has come out to advise Willy Paul to focus on the type of music that he feels is good for his career.

This comes after the singer was bashed for hiding behind the gospel industry yet his own actions speak otherwise.

According to Muthoni Drummer Queen, she feels that he has potential to conquer the ‘secular’ industry and should ditch the gospel industry and develop himself as an artist who is not afraid of being himself.

KE gospel is not about Jesus

The outspoken singer goes on to critic the KE gospel industry saying it’s not about Jesus but is about moving masses of bodies.

For this reason her message to Willy Paul is to do what is right for himself not caring the fans he will lose because at the end of the day he will gain others.
