Alkaida! Willy Paul finally explains why he works more with secular artists than gospel

Every year, gospel singer Willy Paul releases more un-gospel-like music despite being a born again singer. Kenyans have always hated him for this, rebuking him online every time he has new music out.

During the weekend, the singer appeared on KTN’s music show Str8 UP where he finally opened up to why he’s always looking to work with secular guys.

In his defense, people should work with anyone willing to spread the word of God despite their background.

“God is love, and I work with my brothers and sisters because we are spreading the word of God, which is love,” Willy Paul said.

Willy Paul’s comments come at a time Kenyans have shown frustrations over the current gospel industry state which has been accused of hypocrisy.

In an unexpected twist, Kenyans quickly switched from sympathizing with gospel singer Willy Paul after surviving Dusit D2 attack in 14 Riverside yesterday to bashing and giving him a stern warning.

The singer took to instagram to share a deep post of how he has survived the gruesome attack that has left several dead and dozens injured.

Somali militant group al-Shabaab, which has longstanding ties to al-Qaeda, claimed credit for the attack.

“Today, I’ve seen how much God loves me!! He’s given me another chance to live. I hope everyone survived the attack at dusit.. I’ve never come across such a thing in my life!!! People have been injured and some have lost their lives!! The police should dig deep into this issue because the kind of weapons that we’re used afew minutes back are not usual!! Someone somewhere is supplying this people with this weapons..” read part of his post.

Change for the better

Followers however, were quick to remind him of his song “Alkaida” which he released a few weeks ago. Fans urged Willy Paul to take it as a message from God and stop singing about Violence.

Huyo ni wa pili! Fans believe Willy Paul is sacrificing his dancers to boost new business

Gospel singer Willy Paul is mourning yet again barely two weeks after losing one of his dancers. The singer took to social media to announce that Val’s close friend Joan, also a dancer, passed away on January 2.

“We just lost another!! This is sad. The girl in front with a yellow jacket is the late val_ aurah that we just buried the other day. Now, the girl at the back in red from the same group just lost her life yesterday. This is so confusing, she was val’s friend from one dance crew ya nyumbani. The devil is on the loose guys. Keep praying r.i.p Joan.” said Willy Paul on social media. 

Val died barely two weeks before Joan following an accident along Nakuru-Nairobi Highway while coming from a dancing gig. Some Kenyans believe this is not a coincidence.

In the social media post, several Kenyans accused Willy Paul of being the behind the two deaths, claiming that he has offered them as sacrifice so that his new studio flourishes this year.

Willy Paul has been aggressively pushing the studio since late last year and has promised big things ahead. He has also bought a new car and fans believe it might be linked to the deaths.

Willy Paul mourns dancer who died in a grizzly accident with sad message

Singer Willy Paul is mourning one of his dancers who perished in a road accident. Willy Paul took to Instagram on Sunday to mourn the dancer who is popularly known as Val.

Val passed away in accident while coming from a gig in Nakuru. Willy Paul informed his fans that losing her was a big lose to the industry since  she was very talented.

“The girl in blue hair, gone too soon my love.. words alone cannot express how shocked I am now. REST IN ETERNAL PEACE. And like I’ve always said to you, I still love you and will always do. Such a young soul. May the Lord God take good care of you.. You were one of my best @saldido_international R.I.P @val_smilley  LOVE YOU!!

Why do Kenyans hate Willy Paul so much – singer Cecile wonders

What a week it has been for singer Willy Paul.

The controversial singer has been getting hate from all angles especially after working with Jamaican singer Cecile for his new single Sikireti which has angered Kenyans in all ways.

Recently, another Jamaican singer going by the name Boss Lady Sim Sam was left shocked by the hate the singer has been getting.

On social media, he posted a comment and tagged Cecile saying that despite being a fan of Willy Paul, Kenyans don’t want to be associated with him.

“I am Jamaican national living in London, UK. I love the songs Willy Paul did with our female singers, Alaine and Cecile. However, I cannot just understand the bitterness and hatred he gets from his own people,” the fan by the name Boss Lady Sim Sam posed. 

“Simsam, that makes the two of us. It is tragic how his own do not approve of him” Cecille wrote.

Cecile also made another comment asking Willy Paul to behave like a gospel artist if he wanted respect from Kenyans. Her comments came after the singer posted a half-naked photo on social media.

“Gospel man, why don’t you put on the clothes before them start pon you again? What kind of hype gospel is this?” she told him. 

Willy Possed? Willy Paul denies he’s in hospital after a Viagra overdose

Willy Paul has come out to vehemently deny that he’s currently in hospital after over using sexual enhancers.

On Instagram, the singer, who has been hit by one controversy after another, shot a clip do denying that he’s currently in MP Sha Hospital getting doctors’ help having taken too many Viagra pills.

“Honestly hata kama kuna hate, haifai kufika hiyo point,” Willy Paul says in the clip shot in a car. 

“Shame on you na nisikupate. I think hii mazoeano imefika mbali sana. Watu wananitext wananiambia ‘Hey bro, are you OK. Tunaskia umeadmitiwa’. You’ll see fire.”

Collapsed

In 2016, the singer had to be rushed to hospital after he developed breathing complications.

“I collapsed at home; and when I regained consciousness I found myself admitted to hospital. I gather it is my neighbours and friends who rushed me to Mater,” said the singer. 

It’s not yet clear who started the rumour though Willy Paul has promised to find him/her.

Willy Paul blasts churches in Kenya headed by greedy and inconsiderate pastors

For a person whose name is associated more with the secular world than gospel, singer Willy Paul recently shared his thoughts on some Kenyan churches and got many fans nodding in agreement.

We all know fans don’t believe Willy Paul is a saved christian. Many see him as just an artist who sings music with God’s name in them. I mean, if his secular collabos surpass he’s gospel once, we can can’t blame fans.

Anyway, Willy Paul recently blasted churches and fans totally agreed with him.

According to the singer, churches are ready to help the pastor and any other high-ranked official but are not willing to help the congregation. They are always ready to pray for someone in the congregation but never ready to give any support financially.

“A church needs 2m to build a toilet, they call for fundraising. The local pastor is sick, urgent fundraising but When a church member needs 2m for kidney transplant they call for prayers. That’s the saddest state of our faith!” he said on social media.

Singer Willy Paul has found himself yet again being attacked for copying Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz. On Instagram fans accused the singer of copying Diamond’s new hairstyle after he went on and braided his hair.

“Mi love mi new rasta style.. give mi a positive comment and like pon mi pic,” said Willy Paul. 

Willy Paul last week put dreadlocks, not braids, even before Diamond had posted his new style. Fans however think that he copied the singer who was also trolled for having “a woman’s hairstyle.”

Willy Paul told fans to check their facts before accusing him of anything because he donned the hairstyle long ago even before the Diamond braided his hair.

Gospel singer Willy Paul left his fans questioning his true intentions after he posted a selfie on Instagram.

The gospel singer, who many have argued is not saved or if he is, doesn’t act like it, posted a selfie showing a woman’s behind. The photo stunned his fans who tried decoding it’s true meaning.

Willy Paul shares emotional details with his fans: My mother has been sick for 17 years now

Willy Paul has expressed sorrow on his social media in the recent few days because of different issues that have been making lose his composer.

First, the singer complained how Tanzanian artist Harmonize mistreated him by not pushing their collabo:

“This is so sad! Honestly speaking, let’s not be people who are just after using others. Let’s learn to support. And if we agree to support then let’s do it whole heartedly… it’s a small world we are living in you might be at the top today but remember. God will heal her

The singer then went ahead to shared how watching his ailing mum has taken a heavy hit on him but is praying that God will change it all in the end.

“My mother has been sick for 17yrs now, sometimes shes fine sometimes she’s not! Her sickness is on and off. For months now the singer has been said to be leaning more on secular music than gospel. His creativity seems to have drifted from what we used to know to something totally wanting.
