Willy Paul’s congratulatory message to mum as she weds the love of her life

Willy Paul has always considered Gloria Muliro to be his mum probably because of their first hit song, sitolia that saw them get recognition in the entertainment industry.

However their relationship changed as soon as Willy Paul got involved with scandals; and being one who prefers being low key and is quite spiritual – Gloria Muliro distanced herself from him.

The last time these two were together, they has been working on a project that didn’t end well after Gloria Muliro refused to appear on the same music video as Willy Paul. This is because she feared having her image and Christian Values tainted by Pozee’s character.

Anyway despite all this, looks like Willy Paul is not holding any bad blood as he recently joined the many fans congratulating Muliro on her wedding. As seen on his Instagram page, Willy Paul wrote a warm message to him ‘mum’ saying;

Willy Paul’s controversial ways

Although we must admit that Pozee was really good at releasing gospel hits (as he remains irreplaceable) truth is, he couldn’t keep hiding his true colors which are now known to everyone.

Apart from being a rude, hard headed artiste Willy Paul has also been accused of sexually harassing more than five women. Others even claim that he batters his lovers but despite all these rumors, the young girls can’t stop chasing him.

With such stories, you can now understand why his fame is slowly fading away and the sad part is that he can’t reverse the damage so far.

Gospel singer Gloria Muliro and Willy Paul have a new single out dubbed Wema. Just like the title, this song speaks about the goodness of the almighty; and what better way to pass the message across than putting it in a song?

Well, turns out that Gloria Muliro featured Willy Paul on the Wema single three years back; and after taking time to perfect the song, they both agreed to upload it on YouTube just a few days ago.

The song has however left many questioning whether Pozee has given up on his controversial ways; and judging from the YouTube comments, some remain hopeful that the male singer will find his way back to God.

Interview

Speaking to Mzazi Willy M Tuva and his cohost Selly Kadot; Gloria Muliro not only disclosed when she recorded the song – but why she continues to insist on having the lyric video instead of the normal visual one.

However according to Gloria, there are a few things she is yet to iron out with Willy Pozee before they work on another video. To her, his salvation will be the key to open ways that will better their new song.

Judging from her interview, it’s obvious to tell that Gloria does not wish to mix with controversy; something Willy Paul is now known to enjoy!

Speaking during the interview Muliro opened up saying;

Ni kweli kwamba Willy aliweza kuni approach kwa Sababu ya kufanya video ya huu wimbo; lakini nikawa na swali ambalo najua wengi pia wamekuwa wakijiuliza. Nikiangalia comments ambazo watu wanaandika wengi wanauliza je Willy amerudi gospel au vipi?

From her statement above, it’s obvious to tell that Gloria will not be dragging her name in mud. If indeed this is the reason, then doesn’t it mean she is doing quit the opposite of Christian teachings? But hey, who am I to judge?

She went on to conclude saying;

Na ninatiwa moyo sana nikiona wengi wangependa Willy akiwabariki na nyimbo za gospel vile alikuwa akiwabariki kitambo. Kwa hivyo mimi nlipokuwa na hilo swali, tumekuwa na mazungumzo na Willy, mazungumzo ambayo hatujamaliza na kwa sababu tuliona wimbo unafaa kuwa released, basi tukarelease in a lyric form.

Singer Gloria Muliro has a new song dubbed Wema featuring Willy Paul. This particular video has however left many wondering whether Pozee has finally decided to get back to gospel!

The new song that speaks about God’s goodness is not just a blessing; but a perfect fit especially with this pandemic attacking the economy from all directions!

Anyway, with fans questioning Willy Paul’s latest move; Gloria Muliro has finally come out to answer some of these questions while on an interview with Mseto East Africa.

Speaking to Willy M Tuva and Selly Kadot; Gloria Muliro made it known that this song was recorded about 3 years ago.

However after waiting for a long time she decided to have it released as the project was now ready. The singer opened up saying;

Huo wimbo hatujaufanya wakati huu. Huo wimbo ni wa kitambo, zaidi ya miaka mitatu hivi. Ni wimbo tuliofanya nyakati amabazo Willy hakuwa ameanza kufanya hizo nyimbo zingine. Sio wimbo wa sasa ni wimbo wa kitambo.

Why a lyric video?

As seen on YouTube the two seem to have released a lyric video; something that many did not expect.

When asked why and when they are planning to release an official video; Gloria made it known that for now they will be working with the uploaded video until she is done solving her issue with Pozee.

According to Gloria, Pozee has to fix his ways before they can agree to recording an official video for Wema. She said;

Gloria however made it known that as soon as she is done solving her ‘issue’ with Pozee they would then release the anticipated video.
