Vera opted for a treatment involving numbing cream followed by dermal filler injections to lift and define her cheekbones, giving her a more youthful appearance.

“Two hours later… snatched for the Gods. Y’all know I only go to the best,” she remarked, clearly pleased with the results.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, cheek enhancement procedures can cost around $3,600 and are popular for improving bone structure or restoring mid-face volume lost to aging.

In a follow-up post, Vera displayed her new look with makeup applied, highlighting her jawline. “Flaunting my new jawline,” she captioned, posing playfully with a duck face.

Sidika pointed out that the last few weeks have been particularly distressing, from the killings and abductions during antigovernment demonstrations to the recent discovery of decomposing bodies in Kware. The mother of two, currently on a tour of Canada, took to her social media to express her concerns.

“I don’t know what’s going on honestly. But they need to take accountability. I’m just so drained y’all. It’s been too dark lately. Bad news every other day we can’t even be happy for a good full week now,” Vera Sidika wrote.

Her remarks come as pressure mounts on authorities to expedite the investigations. The official number of bodies recovered has been disputed, with eyewitnesses, human rights organizations, and the media reporting higher figures than those declared by the government. The number is expected to rise as more bodies were recovered from the scene by residents on Sunday afternoon.

Initially, two bodies had been retrieved before chaos erupted as police clashed with residents who had camped at the scene, with volunteers retrieving more bodies. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Acting Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja, revealed that all the bodies retrieved were of females aged between 18-30 years.

“The modus operandi was almost the same. If you look at the age, it was between 18-30. These are all female. If you look at how the bodies have been disguised and packaged – all the same,” Kanja stated, noting that the bodies were dumped at a similar spot in the dumpsite.

“Are we dealing with a cult that is associated with criminal activities? Are we dealing with serial killers that are also associated with criminal activities? Or even, could we be dealing with rogue medical practitioners that are dealing with criminal activities? All these are hypotheses we have tried to bring on board,” Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss Mohammed Amin remarked.

Despite her history of dating men from West Africa and abroad, Sidika settled down with Mauzo, surprising many of her followers.

This created a bit of controversy,  with some people claiming that Vera  just used Brown Mauzo to get kids that were light skinned. Where are also the more conservative people who believe in the sanctity of marriage and that people shouldn’t be celebrating divorce.  The TikToker Lydia Wanjiru however, is of a completely different opinion. She came out to say that married women are bitter and angry that Vera choose her life and chose to walk out 

“If you were so happy in your relationship and Marriage, Why wouldn’t you want someone else to leave the relationship in which they are not happy And go find a relationship or whatever else that makes them happy.”

She doubled down

“These are the same women that tell others to go and get one child. Even if you don’t want to get married get one child. You tell them you don’t want children,  they are mad. You try the marriage  thing, it doesn’t work, they are mad. Someone will come out here one day and say they have been experiencing physical violence, Mental violence,  emotional  violence and you’ll ask why they didn’t leave early after they die. You’ll be there saying si angetoka tu? Si angeenda? Kwani lazima angekaa?
